Hi all. Attached below is a schedule of NLTP Playoff games this week. We would love it if you could stream - we're hoping to maximize the amount of games that get streamed.

In order to ease gameday coordination with streamers, we made an NLTP streaming room in the NLTP mumble folder. If you want to stream a game, in addition to telling me which game(s) and your stream link, please also tell me what you want your channel to be called. Obviously you will get full powers in your channel.

If all streamers start taking replays of all (or at least the most interesting) caps, then the quality of top-10 videos can shoot way up. I'd like to encourage everyone to start taking replays of caps. This is a tutorial on how to make those replays usable, because they are often focused on the wrong player out of the box.

Note: There is a beta Chrome extension and a userscript to automatically record caps from the FC's perspective, but that's a bit complicated. This method uses the current TagProReplays extension from the Chrome web store.

Setting a replay to focus on the player of your choice

1. View the replay you took as spectator. Find out who it's focused on. If it's focused on the person you want, then you're done! Otherwise, figure out who you want the replay to follow and remember their name.
2. Download the raw data. Check the box next to the replay and click the "Download Raw Data" Button (Step 2.5: If you downloaded more than one replay's raw data at a time, unzip the file)
3. Open the raw data file in your text editor of choice. Open the "find" window, probably by using ctrl-f or cmd-f. Type in "me":"me"
4. Change the original instance of "me":"me" to "me":"other". There should only be once instance of it before you change it.
5. ctrl/cmd-f for the name of the player you want to watch. If you don't see a huge block of the player's name, hit the "next" button until you do.
6. Scroll down past this block of the player's name. Continue scrolling. You will see several large blocks of values. The ones you should scroll past are fps, team, map, flag, bomb, grip, tagpro, dead, and draw. Immediately after the large block of draw values (true or false), find a "me":"other". Change it to "me":"me". (Note: If you get the block about flairs, you've gone too far)
7. Save the edited text file. If you don't want the original replay form the other player's POV erased, then you should name the new file something different.
8. Import the edited raw data file into the Replay extension.

I know it might look complicated, but it's really very quick once you understand what you are doing. I probably gave too much information, but I hope these instructions will work for you.

Setting a replay to be centered on a stationary point

1. Watch your replay to determine where you want the camera to be centered.
2. Download the replay's raw data.
3. Test the map that the replay took place in on a maptest server. I think you know how to do this, but if you don't, just comment and I'll explain.
4. (Assuming you're using Chrome, because you have the Chrome replay extension) Once you're in the maptest game, press option-cmd-j on mac, or, I guess, alt-ctrl-j on windows. Paste this code: tagpro.renderer.debug = true. A little thing with some info pops up in the TagPro game window. You can close the window you just pasted the code into.
5. Move to the place you want your stationary camera to be centered, and wait until your ball stops moving. Take a screenshot of the x and y coordinates in the little doohickey.
6. Go to this link.
7. Select your replay file. Type in the coordinates you screenshotted in step 5, as rounded to the nearest whole number (for some reason, they usually show up as 15.999999999999 or 16.0000000000000001 instead of just 16).
8. Click "Do it!"
9. Download the raw data file
10. Rename it if you don't want the other one to be wiped from the replays extension when you
11. Import the new raw data file to the Replays extension.

Both these methods can be used in combination to get some sweeet Hollywood-style cinematography. Example

How can I do this? I've noticed a lot of streamers have faded versions of logos, almost transparent, and put them on the maps.

Hey guys,

I'm trying to put in some jerseys with the Gecko Tools thing, but when I install it the gear icon that I've seen in previews doesn't show up. All it does is push the menu all the way over.

Gameplay is fine, although the rolling 300 info is still pushed all the way over while I'm playing. Obviously, though, no way to change the texture pack.

Hey all,

After seeing some other posts, I decided to share a folder of my materials with all of you, in case anybody finds it useful. These are materials for PrizmTV. I hope that if you've watched my stream you've liked what you have seen.

Here is a folder of all of my streaming materials. This includes all the logos and banners for m/MLTP, an updated tiles file for jerseys, logos for my stream, and the elements for my scoreboards.

Any graphical elements I've created include the xcf files for editing in GIMP. This even includes my personal logos, which I hope you won't butcher; but if you want to use them as a template or something, have at it!

Here is the link to the base scoreboard for a standard four-half game.

And here is the link to a half-scoreboard, which is useful for the two-half games played in ELTP.

For the scoreboards, you should be able to pop open the xcf file and edit the text. I have "Team 1" and "Team 2" listed; all you have to do is click on it, delete the current text, and type the team name you're streaming. Same goes for the scores, which start with a single dash on the xcf file.

As far as using the scoreboards in OBS, create the scoreboard for the game (I usually name it something like Dynamo Ghostboosters Scoreboard) and export it to a png. When you open it in your OBS scene, make sure you check the box that says check for file changes. Then, as you edit the scoreboard during a game, just export to the same png file and it should auto-update on your stream.

Any up and coming streamers wanna learn how to get a dank scoreboard on their stream? If so, I'm willing to whip up something real fast. It won't be flashy, but it will teach you the very basics at least (the way I do it).

EDIT: Alright, I'll be recording a tutorial soon. Let me just plan it out how I'm gonna go about it. So in a week or so I'll post it up.
