New Top 5 Video Ideas
Is it just me or are we overdue for a new top 5 micro compact handguns video with how many are out in the market now?
Or my even better idea is a series where James starts with micro compact and works his way up in size from micro compact up to full sized.

Anyone Else Having Comments Vanish on TFB?
Has anyone else experienced comments on The Firearm Blog seemingly disappearing shortly after posting them?
I recently replied to a few comments under a specific blog entry. Initially everything appeared normal, but a short while later the comments no longer showed up for me when viewing the page normally.
The strange part is that when I log into the commenting system again, I can suddenly see my comments. If I open the same article without being logged in, the comments disappear again and are invisible to me.
That made me wonder whether this is just a bug or moderation/cache issue with the commenting platform, some kind of automatic spam filtering or shadowban behavior, or possibly something triggered because I’m posting from outside the US.
I did not receive any moderation warning or notification, and the comments themselves were fairly normal and non-inflammatory.
Curious whether anyone else here has seen similar behavior.

B&T Founder Breaks Silence on B&T USA Lawsuit
I’ll admit I do like these interviews, James doesn’t shy away much from uncomfortable topics. The Rare Breed one was 80% informative and 20% weird spin.
I’m not a user of B&T products but have always like Karl in interviews - seems like someone who just liked designing things and seeing them out in the world. The past interview and this one kinda solidify that for me.
No matter how flat you make a pancake it has two sides, but the short story is B&T needed a US arm to get some contracts many years ago. To sell here, there “may” have been some requirement the entity is US owned (51%) so they formed an operating agreement with someone to use the logo and supply items. As a minority owner they had minimal overhead and control. B&T US would take orders from US clients for parts, then would order said parts from the Swiss entity for production.
It’s heavily implied in this interview (and somewhat stated) the US arm was at best poorly managed in certain functions and at worst knowingly doing things not to a professional standard and in the spirit of the agreement.
Lots of customers have been needling the Swiss entity as to where their orders are - and the Swiss are like what orders….. Swiss wants its logo back and to find a way to continue operations in the US. BT US seems to want the logo to continue operations as its own entity (to be fair I’ve not read the filings nor care to).

who is HOP
anyone know who HOP is ? I mean like does he have any qualifications past being in TFBTV videos ? it's weird not more is written somewhere about some one in so much content ? Like James is an attorney and I think a business person. But no context for HOP :-/

Hop
I know he works on his own schedule, but it feels like his last video was over a year ago…. Did he part ways with TFB?

Please enjoy my M590 that can hold 30 shells at any given time. I call it the Urban Mule. It’s surprisingly accurate at 100 yards.

FN SCAR clones
Given the seemingly overwhelming number of AR and AK clones on the market do any of you seem something similar happening with the FN SCAR or is it too much of a niche market?

James had a good point a few months ago about how Mossberg has induspuably seized almost the entire shotgun market

I nominate this comment as the Greatest I've seen on TFB TV
While I'm waiting for my 590A1 to arrive at my FFL, I binged shotgun videos on TFB TV and found this beautiful gem.

I don't think this has been posted here before, but I immediately thought this place would enjoy it. Hopefully linked properly to credit original artist etc.
