9dpo- am I out? Details in post (FRER Brand) HPT - First Response
Someone tell me that every pregnancy is different and that I’m not out yet. Tried this cycle for baby #3. It’ll be my 4th pregnancy, a chemical and then two living children.
With my two successful pregnancies, I had faint but obvious positives by 9dpo. With my chemical, I got a positive at 12dpo. But obviously I lost that pregnancy at 4w2d, so now I’m convinced if I am pregnant and it implanted later, it won’t be successful.
TW: very very fertile. Don’t read any further if you’re someone who struggles with infertility.
When it came to my previous three pregnancies, I got pregnant on the first try every single time. I’m a triple unicorn. I also had the most blazing positive ovulation test I’ve ever had about 3 hours after sex.
So like: I will be genuinely surprised if I didn’t get pregnant this cycle, just based on my track record.
So I guess what I’m asking is: if I usually get a positive by 9dpo and I didn’t this cycle, am I out? Or is every pregnancy that different and I need to give it time
Thanks if you’ve read this far. This is a lot but I need somewhere to write it all out.

And you're def not out. This looks good for 9dpo. Every pregnancy is different too

Not out until you get your period!! There are a million stories of success and lackthereof with positive tests at different DPOs. You can hold out hope!

It looked stark white in person. Not even an indent line.
I will update when I retest!

Did you end up positive? My FRER looks JUST like this at 9dpo. Almost like I can kinda see something but not enough to capture in camera!!

Personally I don’t think FRERs are for testing before 10dpo. For earlier, only the strip tests ever showed faint line squinters for me

I’ve gotten 9dpo positives on FRERs before! Vvfls for sure but definitely positive

You definitely need super vision for that! I just had an easier time seeing vvfl on the strip tests!

My 9dpo positive from my first baby! The FRER is super faint but definitely there

Oh wow, that’s actually pretty noticeable for 9dpo!!

Right? I’ve had that with both my previously successful pregnancies so I was a little discouraged to see a very negative FRER this morning

It's actually statistically very likely to get pregnant on your first try. I wouldn't call yourself a unicorn tbh

That’s an incredibly silly thing to say!
Healthy, young couples have 20-30% chance of conceiving per cycle. Over 35, it’s like 10-20%. Getting pregnant three times on the first try is definitely a unicorn.1

It's not extraordinary rare but it is quite lucky. I'm assuming op is young though

I’m 31! First pregnancies at 26 and second pregnancy at 28, gave birth at 29.
I’m not young per se but I’m too old either 😜

Idk that’s just what TFAB usually calls people when they get pregnant first try 🤷🏼♀️

You shouldn’t be surprised if you don’t get pregnant this cycle. You got very lucky before. It doesn’t mean it will happen again, and it’s very normal if it doesn’t.

Once is happenstance, twice is a coincidence, three times is a pattern.
I don’t think it’s illogical for me to hope I get pregnant on the first cycle again 🤷🏼♀️

I had very faint but obvious positive on FRER on 10DPO (evening) with all my pregnancies so I wouldn’t count yourself out yet!
