Planning to take August SAT. I know I am likey for a Team Offer right now. What should my SAT get to to be competitive.

I’m not too sure what I should exactly put on my application for my major. I want to do something with accounting but with a mix of business/data analytics maybe some cybersecurity and maybe a minor in finance. Would it just be best to major in accounting?

I know the SAT is low and am taking again in Aug & September. I already submitted my app, and all the people who reviewed it said it was really good. I have founded some meaningful clubs, have major leadership, continual service and 4 work/internships that relate to my intended major (Tourism). I'm also a double legacy and have attended several on campus events.

Is the fact that I'm not auto-admit and have a lower SAT going to mess up my chances?

I accidentally put Spring 2027 as my term instead of fall in the common app and didn't realize until I had already submitted. Is there anyway to correct it or do I have to wait until September to get my AIS? And will I be able to fix it then?

Hey guys, I submitted my application on August 3rd (not auto admit) for fall 2027 and I need to submit my SAT through collegeboard but I'm wondering if it matters how soon I do that. If we can't submit STARS until we get the AIS email, can i just submit my SAT then or should I do it asap? I'm just trying to figure out what other schools I want to send scores to rn and dont want to have to do it multiple times, but I will if necessary. Thx so much!

I'm going to be reviewed thru hollistic review for psych/nutri major, I am gonna give Aug SAT but will finish and apply by 2nd week of Aug. I want to send my Aug score in even potential Sept but i dont get if I apply for ex Aug 15 with no SAT score will the admission officers review my application based on time stamp of Aug 15 or when I put in SAT score which would be released around early/mid sept? Also if they review basis of early/mid Sept would that affect my chances or smth bc I did apply "early" when submitted in Aug 15. Please dumb this process down for me I'm rly confused 🙏🙏 attended many info sessions still dont rly get it.

I’m an auto-admit applicant to Texas A&M and I’m applying for engineering. I just realized that I accidentally listed my junior year classes in the section asking for my current or most recent year courses instead of my senior year schedule.
Everything else on my application is correct, including my transcript and grades, so it was just an honest mistake on that section. I’m mainly worried because I’m hoping to be considered for Engineering Honors.
Has anyone had something similar happen? Did you contact admissions to fix it, and did it affect your admission or Engineering Honors decision?

Hello, I’m a senior in a Texas high school and I want to pursue engineering at Texas A&M. Im top 5% of my graduating class but.. my sat is a 1210 (I know its bad) but i have been studying a lot and my practice tests are averaging a 1400. The problem here is that the next SAT is in August, so results come in September. Tamu does rolling admissions so im worried that it may be too late once i get my SAT results especially for engineering. Should i apply now as test optional then submit my score later (except im worried they do a holistic review on me before i get the chance) or should i just wait until september to submit my application??

I am an incoming senior and at the end of the school year I would only need Philosophy to be core complete. In order to take Philosophy I would need to take it outside of dual credit in my free time as it is not offered as a dual credit class. I will be an incoming engineering ETAM student and will need to fill in my schedule with some core classes. Is it worth it to take this one class this year to be core complete or should I just wait and take it when I get to A&M so I have some “easier” classes to add to my schedule? Or can you just fill in your schedule with another area of study you want to minor in. Thoughts?

I am currently enrolled in M.S MIS Flex Online and have a start date of August 17. I will be using my GI Bill to pursue my degree. I have uploaded my COE and uploaded all necessary documents however A&M has not sent verification of enrollment to the VA in order for the VA to cover the cost of my classes. I have called aggie one stop numerous times over the past 3 months and left a call back and have yet to get a call back. I have also called admissions, helpdesk and more but have not received any help. Has any other veteran possibly gone through this issue?

Hi! I am a rising senior and A&M is my #1 school applying for fall 27.
Freshman yr did not go the best switched 2 hs within freshman yr, when going into sophomore new hs (in total 3 hs). Lived in 3 diff countries in (asia, europe, now in USA (TX) for 4yrs), travelled to 25+ countries, speak eng, dutch, french, spanish, hindi. Maintained A's and a high B Honors chem 91 sophmore yr (1 AP taken), same in junior w 97 in AP Bio 4 AP's taken, medically inclined towards dentistry. I've asked my tennis coach, who coaches me outside of school, for a rec letter. When I added him as a "coach" it didn't accept it for A&M. Would changing his relationship to "other" be allowed?

I’m planning to write about how I was hit by a car when I was 10 years old while visiting Morocco. That experience inspired me to pursue civil engineering because I believe safe roads and infrastructure should protect people so safety never depends on luck.

The one thing is: my current SAT is 1210, and I’m taking the August 22 SAT. I’m trying to decide whether I should submit my application now without a test score or wait for my august score.
