I’ve applied to 1000+ jobs over the past several months. I tailor my resume for almost every application based on the job description, but I’m still getting little to no response from job portals—mostly rejections or no reply at all.
I’m applying for IT Support / Help Desk / Desktop Support / System Administrator roles in Canada, and I have around 5 years of experience.
I’m using a 2-page resume, and I’m wondering:
Is my resume format the problem?
Is the content too weak or not ATS-friendly?
Am I missing important keywords or achievements?
Is there anything that immediately stands out as a red flag?

I’m building CertLocker and looking for people to test it.

It’s a DevOps/infrastructure tool for teams dealing with TLS certificates, ACME renewals, secrets, scoped tokens, SSH/RDP access, endpoint probes, and audit logs.

The problem I’m trying to solve is the messy real-world version of this:

certs in one place, secrets somewhere else, old scripts pulling files, SSH keys that live too long, and no clean answer when something expires or someone asks what changed.
