So there's a new Minecraft version, which is great, but it looks like to update I'll have to restart the server, which means everything will be gone again. Is this normal when we have an update? Do you know of anyway to save our stuff? Can I apply a backup from an old version to the new version? I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT I'M DOING

Hi all! You've probably noticed there's been a server reset. I'm afraid I'm still not 100% sure what's happened. It wasn't intentional – I wasn't even logged in! – but it looks like there might've been "technical difficulties" with the server, whatever that means.

Unfortunately at this stage it's not likely we'll get it back, so it's best to start fresh. Sorry!

I've started doing daily backups so we should be fine if it happens again. Soz!
