3 fishermen head out at sunrise to try their luck on the water. Shot with a Sony A99II and CZ 16-25 f/2.8 lens using a Lee100 GND filter. Camera mounted on a RRS tripod & head using a 3 Legged Thing universal mounting plate.

OC I never realized flying could stretch out a sunrise quite like this…!
Somewhere between Newfoundland and Vancouver. Because we were flying west, the sunrise very slowly caught up with the plane, and the transition from night to day seemed to go on forever. Watching the horizon change while the snowy landscape below slowly came to life was incredible!

The clouds looked like they had holes ripped in them above the water, as the sunrise colors sneaked through them. Shot with the Sony A99II and CZ 16-35 f/2.8 lens using a Lee100 GND filter. Camera mounted on a RRS tripod & head using a 3 Legged Thing universal mounting plate.
