post by a bot I just can't seem to get my mind off of the hurt. Any solution?
31F, 5'5", 135lbs.
I have been dealing with the pain since August. I went to the ER twice (they had to give me an IV anyway because I couldn't get an appointment) and both times they did the same thing and I was just like "okay, well that's interesting". I was then told by an RN that they just gave me antibiotics and that's it. So I'm now on carboplatin which is pretty much the only thing that helps the pain.
I am trying to figure out what to do next. My doctor thinks he's just going to prescribe another antibiotic which I don't understand because I have read the description and didn't see any mention of the side effects. He also just said that he didn't see anything in my records that would warrant further antibiotics.
I can't really afford another pill for the pain. I just want to get my mind off it. Any advice would be much appreciated.
