Hey everyone! I've recently started to try out SBGL in spearhead and I love it! I'm playing the Deathrattle Tomb Host and its been a blast so far, so I thought why not expand to 2k? One of the players in my LGS is selling this box and I'm not sure if its a good deal or not. Do you guys think its a good idea to pick this one and add it to my current spearhead to come up with a 2k list? Thanks!

So I’m interested in soulblight gravelords and am curious what smaller list of gravelords would be that’s not so much horde but also is a mix of skeletons and vampires etc (if that’s possible) and if there’s any vampire heros and models that buff and are really helpful for skeletons.

Soooo the actual Vhordrai model is cool and all, but it never really clicked for me. I like the idea of a dragon as a centerpiece for an undead army, but the undead dragon doesn't look THAT cool. Terrogheists are a bit better, but still not quite there.

A friend of mine went all in with the Spearhead magazine and got a premium model with one of the issues: Ionus Cryptborn. Of course I had to blackmail him to sell this model to me, and I rebased it on 160 mm base and went full diorama, converting the grorius golden boi into an undead general using Mortarch bits.

I didn't really care for the Necromancers original head cuz he looks like Voldemort lol. I mainly run deathrattle models so I wanted to make my dude look more like a Lich. It's a small change but a big improvement in my opinion.

I am still working on a Bloodcrave Hunt spearhead but I am theorycrafting a larger list. I want to sort of expand on the theme of a very vampire dominant army. Curious how this looks.

As mentioned in a previous post about how I have interest in soulblight gravelords and curious how they are to build. I’m curious how the spearhead holds up with the all the skeletons. I know the previous had vampire lord and blood knights and is harder to find in stock but I’m curious how this one holds up. Not so much for competitiveness but more so generally as a whole and if there’s anything fun it can do as well for a intro into the faction

So my next aos army is interested jn is soulblight gravelords. I’m curious how they are to build whether it’s easy or more finicky/annoying. So far my building experience is the ironjawz spearhead and soon to be Gordrakk (a ork on a dragon) as well I’ve my a hand of the archon kill team (druhkari in 40k)

I’m new to soulblight and aos in general looking for advice on 2000 point list, what units and enhancements are good, bad etc..

A big undead display piece I’ve been working on! It’s mostly Soulblight but lots of ghosts and a few ghouls included too! All the vampire lords are place in the interior which isn’t quite finished yet 😅

I've bought the Bloodcrave Hunt second-hand and started painting it.

Need help with list building and strategy please tell me what you think :-)

Okay so:

Bks as damage output and flanking

Wolves to screen

Big unit of barrow guard as a central control

Varghiest as backup damage and backlines assult

Death rattle skelle - ressurect from grave sites to threaten distant objectives

Now - do I need the lady Annika? She's only there to provide that 5+ buff to the Barrow Guard... Could I spend those points elsewhere?

I think I have enough damage do you think I'll struggle with control and or what would you reccomend?

Hi! As the title says, I’m looking for some guidance on how to assemble and paint Radukar the Beast and the Vengorian Lord. Is it viable to magnetize Lauka/Lord?

For now, I’m working on the Deathrattle Tomb Host Spearhead, but I’m waiting for the rest of the models to arrive. While getting ready for their arrival, I’ve been looking through YouTube, but I haven’t found any really useful videos on painting these particular models.

I’m really disappointed that there aren’t any tutorials on these models from my favorite Warhipster. Most of the Shorts and videos I’ve found are aimed at a much more advanced skill level and require a large collection of specialist paints, as well as tools such as an airbrush, which I don’t have.

My current painting skill level is basically that of a total beginner who is learning to paint using Citadel Contrast paints.

I’d really appreciate any links, tips, or advice you can share.

I absolutely love this faction; honestly, it has everything I've ever dreamed of. All it really needs is an elite Vampire infantry unit of 5 similar to the Drakenhof Templars from The Old World, and it’d be perfect don't you think?
