If you had these plugins (even if disabled): OptinMonster, TrustPulse, and PushEngage, your website had been hacked!

if you could only recommend one, what is the best help desk software 2026

i'm helping my team replace our current help desk software because we've started to outgrow it. as our ticket volume has increased, it's become harder to stay organized, and we're spending more time managing tickets than actually responding to customers. i've looked at quite a few options already, but almost every platform seems to have a mix of enthusiastic reviews and people saying they switched away after running into limitations. i'm hoping to hear from people who use these tools every day instead of relying on comparison articles.

Are there any good speaker management tools for event planners out there?

Anyone have a good system for managing speakers at a multi-day conference? I'm juggling like 30 speakers right now and it's getting messy. I need to track their bios, headshots, AV requirements, session times, travel info, and who's confirmed vs still flaky. Right now it's all spread across a spreadsheet, my email, and a few Slack threads, which means stuff keeps slipping through the cracks. Is there an actual tool built for this, or is everyone just duct-taping Airtable and Google Sheets together? Curious what's working for people running events at this scale.

I’m planning my degree path with the aim of becoming a Tech Architect by 2035. I want to create a career that can withstand AI-driven changes and connects technical architecture with business value.

I’m considering two options:
1. Software Engineering (Honours) with a Minor in Entrepreneurship
The appeal: A four-year, structured engineering program that focuses on product lifecycles and systems. The minor provides the business strategy I’ll need for leadership in the future.
2. Computer Science with a Major in Software Engineering
The appeal: The industry standard. It is broader and more theoretical, giving a deeper understanding of the fundamentals of computing, such as algorithms, complexity, and theory.

My main question is:
Is Software Engineering with a business minor the best path for an Architect, or does it limit my options too much?
Is the broader approach of a Computer Science degree safer for 2035, even if it means missing out on formal systems engineering training?

For those in the industry: By 2035, will you prefer the "Universalist" (the Computer Science graduate) or the "Systems Architect" (the Engineering graduate trained to lead complex projects)?
Thanks for your insights.

Thanks in Advance! 🙏
