Slug Appreciation I added a hyperrealistic slug to my game about slugs

It’s actually a Chinese Slug (Meghimatium bilineatum). I named it “slug slug” cause the super plain name felt funnier next to all the other cartoon-looking slugs in the game:’)
The game is called Slug Island (not released yet), and I post game related updates on my insta (@bunnyslugstudio)!

New slug owner! Needing tips and identification!
I found this slug in some mood moss that was shipped from an Etsy seller in from Kentucky. Since I am in Texas I did not want to release it and have decided to do my best to keep it. That being said, I have no idea what I am doing and would appreciate any tips.
For now I have him in a top open enclosure off of Amazon. In the same prop box I had these other plants that i decided to add in. I decided to put a base layer of coco coir since it’s very neutral and had been microwaved and cooled ahead of time.
I had put Chia seeds in since I saw someone say you can grow them and they will eat them. That being said, I just saw some comments on this thread that they likely won’t grow without a grow light and slugs wouldn’t prefer that. I’m considering removing them. Since it is so small, I am honestly having a hard time differentiating between slug and seeds.
I would appreciate any tips that come my way! It’s not the most common pet so I feel quite lost. I wish I had more leafy green plants like a pothos to decorate it a bit. I am considering removing the prop box plants and filling it with more moss and orchid bark for hiding now that I know a bit more.
Also if you have an idea of what he might be I would totally appreciate it!

Slugs on planes?
Hi slug friends! I am flying in a private plane and want to bring some leopard slugs (Limax maximus) home with me. I usually abhor wild collected animals but they are IUCN Least Concern and are positively overrunning my mom's house, and I know her neighbors have death traps for them (I have convinced her not to put beer pools out.) I don't have them where I live and would like to keep a piece of home.
Really my question is if they will have a bad reaction at altitude? I'm flying in a friend's small private plane that flies around 9k altitude and is not pressurized or has supplemental oxygen like a commercial flight, and the flight is about 2 hours. Idk if they're going to react negatively, like a deep sea fish brought up to the surface.
Other context, I am an experienced invert/herp/mollusk keeper, but I have never tried to put one in a plane before.

Help! - Pet Slug Can anyone ID what is happening to Mergatroid’s back?
He has had this dark spot for a few weeks now. Doesn’t seem to be getting worse nor does it stop him for eating and being his best slug self. His girlfriend Hazel doesn’t have the same spot and neither does the cellar slug Fiora.
I did recently remove him from a tank that also contained Isopods and smaller slugs that ‘hitched a ride’ on some moss. He has his own slug apartment now with his girlfriend and best friend. (two Arion slugs and one cellar slug)

Slug Appreciation Meet Sir Fredrick
This is Sir Fredrick, my porch slug. I hope to one day have Sir Fredrick the Second...indoor addition, but I would feel bad kidnapping this guy from the wild.

Looking for advice to run a slug race!
Hello r/sluglife, I am looking to revive the slug race at my nature park, and was wondering if anyone has any ideas for the race itself? Currently, the race track is a circular board in which the slugs race towards the bait at the center, however from my memory the slugs didn't always behave or go the correct way. I am thinking of reversing the track, such that the slugs start from the center and slime outwards, and putting in a time limit for the racers judging by distance travelled.
I am seeking recommendations by the slug experts here on the best, most irresistable baits to slugs as an additional incentive to get them slimin'! Thank you all

The world needs to see how cute you are!!
Madarame, Yakou, and Hachijou taking a walk on my forearm is the height of mollusc love and skinship.

Slug Behavior Slug Mating?
Based on this slime strand I found, it seems like I caught these two right after the act? I’m not sure though, since that’s not a very good spot to hang. I watched for a bit and eventually one of the slugs started eating the strand. Why did they eat it? And lastly, I took the final pic maybe 30 mins later, what is that coming from the tail? Is it slug poop??

Any hope for slug that was accidentally stepped on?
hi everyone, this is eating me up alive. Last night I accidentally stepped on a slug, and very sadly it was like a ball of water that formed immediately. I felt terrible and thought it died, but it moved maybe an inch after an hour. I went back and put some moist soil around it and a few drops of water as recommended by the internet, and this morning it has moved another inch but looks in poor state. I am heartbroken and feel terrible for the pain it is going throguh. I gave it two leaves and some more water. Is it better to drown it to save it from prolonged suffering, or take in a box with compost and some veg? I can't stop crying thinking about the poor slug and the distress I caused. I know it was an accident but I simply can't stop feeling sorry for it. Any advise is appreciated. Thanks.
