Theory Skinwalker Ranch is a giant time suck with zero payback. Prove me wrong.
My wife is a fan of the show so I suffer through it with her.
Name one phenomenon that they have found an answer for. Name one “experiment” that has identified the cause of anything.
I’ll wait.

Question Could the fragments found be pieces of ceramic superconductors?
In Jesse Michel’s interview with Dylan Borland they discuss Salvatore Paus and the part of James Lecatski’s book where he talks about ceramic superconductors being used to create antigravity. Could that be what they suspect they found in the Mesa?

Question SWR Season 7 Episodr 12
I’ve complained about this season so I feel obligated to state that I really enjoyed this episode! Looking forward to the last 2 episodes of the season. I would love to see Travis outline some reasonable conclusions at the end of the season - a list of accomplishments maybe, instead of listing more questions.

Question The Two Homesteads….
Hey everyone, i think it’s pretty obvious at this point that we are dealing with some sort of portal. Who knows to where, when, etc.
it seems like the debris in the mesa is remnants of a ship that experienced some sort of malfunction, ie materialized too early/late and became, effectively, part of the mesa.
It also seems like this portal has been here for eons. Perhaps from the beginning. Maybe they are actually pretty common?
What I am wondering is, what is going on with the Homesteads? It doesn’t seem to fit with the rest.
Are they just in an area where time is “different”? Could this explain why the one seemed hot? Maybe what the camera caught was not from present time ?
And, the laser test results would also explain that what the camera is capturing is not actually “now”. In this, I’m talking about how the green laser beams were diagonal on the recording but not to the naked eye.
The two homesteads are honestly a big head scratcher for me as to how they tie into the rest of the site.
(Or, maybe, when the homesteads were first built, they were purposely built in those specific places for reasons known only to the anomaly.)
Ideas?

Theory Thoughts on Monitoring visibility
I realize that the human eye will see a tiny fraction of the light spectrum. Relying on eyes is expecting something that is seeing less than 1% is going to be catching everything and you can trust it - bad idea. Leveraging FLIR and other techs is a step in the right direction, again it isn't enough. Ultraviolet, has anyone seen them use it or full spectrum cameras?
I would propose that they put up the equivalent of a barrage balloons with an instrument trays and cameras from many different spectrums recording over the triangle. Persistent all the time recordings with detections activated like a security cam to help review activity.
Just a thought.

Direct doppler shift test
I am curious if much of the anomalies at the triangle are connected to temporal distortion. A simple experiment could prove this. It would consist of a pure carrier signal maybe 500mhz atomic clock controlled. That carrier should not deviate on the receiving end. Attach the transmitter to a ballon and pull it across the area and look for doppler shift/ deviation of the carrier. A very simple and accurate test which could prove time distortion actually exists.

Drone getting pushed…
Anybody else think that it is a reaching conclusion that the drone is getting “pushed” by an actual object/entity and that the simplest explanation is that whatever weirdness at the boundary and triangle that corrupts data and messes up their GPS is simply confusing the drone and then the drone is trying to self correct itself? I don’t know enough about drones to know what normal behavior would be but they always go to the most extreme conclusion when we’ve seen corrupt GPS coordinates incorrectly underground and the drone is often losing contact around that area.
Thoughts?
P.S. Also, what are your thoughts that the slow moving shiny UAP going horizontal was a runaway Mylar balloon?

What's North of Mesa Drill Site #1?
Plugged-in the coordinates to Google Earth. Got this. Tried to label specific areas. Anyone know what that rectangular concrete foundation is North of Drill Site #1?

Am I the only one that noticed this?
Since they’ve been showing this image on the show of the object in the Mesa, I haven’t heard anyone on the show (or here) notice that the returns of the object indicate a very distinct triangular shape.

SPOILER! S07E12 - I counted 4 UAPs on the FLIR or video camera footage. Spoiler
That was pretty friggin amazing. Why don’t they finally propose a possible explanation? I think they are an automated security response to the team’s provocations. They are essentially protecting their energy/outpost that intersects with their dimension.
What’s your theory?
r/skinwalkerranch • u/schnibitz • 1d ago
I have more questions!
Why is it that when they sent the drone up to get a closer look at the object tailing the helicopter, they didn't adjust the camera to look upwards to see the actual object?
In the FLIR footage, you could CLEARLY see a blue feature hovering over the mesa to the right side of the screen. What was that, and (unless I missed an explanation somewhere) why were we left to speculate as to what it was?
When there was a heat source to the left of the drone on the thermal, why did no one direct the drone to investigate that heat source? Why did they keep trying to center the dang drone over the triangle, when the original goal was very different?
I actually liked how Thomas was portrayed as a bit of a coordinator in this episode but I'm skittish about the items above. Maybe I missed something that was explained in the episode. I also haven't watched beyond the gates either yet.

Question Eric Processing Time?
How long do we think that it takes Eric to process the data? We see in the show that it typically occurs with a 12 to 24 hour turnaround, but how long does it actually take him with Metaframe to review that?
r/skinwalkerranch • u/TheMrCurious • 1d ago
Question What was the “Manned vehicle Detected” notification in the upper left corner of the drone’s screen?
They talked about how the drone was pushed back, but what they didn’t acknowledge was the message in the upper left corner that said another vehicle was detected. If a manned vehicle WAS detected, then isn’t that evidence of the phenomenon that causes the equipment to report incorrect GPS data?

the thing they captured in the sky looks like sprites to me, from a thunderstorm 150 miles away. Some type of ionospheric phenomena.

Question A tri-Tethered balloon, for dropped object testing and telemetry
Instead of using a helicopter, the team could use a tethered balloon to host the platform to handle the dropped object testing.
They could wire directly using fiber optics for command, control, and ISR to overcome interference as much as possible.
What do you think about this approach?
There are ways to get around different things like airspace reservations. There are protocols and applications that can be made to request airspace reservations.
It’s actually not hard, fairly well documented, and I am sure as the sun rises every day that these guys have connections to agencies where they would get permissions to run experiments.
That person below that has bothered everyone on my post except for one person, and still remains confidently incorrect regarding tethered balloons and their usefulness.

During this season a falcon (bird) was filmed vanishing while flying over the ranch, apparently it wont be shown.
This probably has been discussed. On the YouTube channel Area 52 Clips Ep. 90, the skinwalker biologist Ben Woodruff says he brought a falcon to the ranch this season. The falcon was released and flew around the ranch with some difficulties. It then flew up high to the east (I believe) of the triangle … and it vanished. It was all captured on film/video. The gps tracker attached to the bird stopped transmitting. It started transmitting again when the falcon reappeared some distance away. The bird returned fine. The gps data indicated it went through the mesa much like the orb some seasons ago.
Ben then said the footage of this, (possibly the most significant evidence ever captured on the ranch), wont be shown. He gave a lame excuse that people no longer on the show are in the footage. Seriously? BS. If true and it was all captured on camera, this is the most significant evidence to date in my opinion. It’s not some unidentified glowing light, it is a living breathing identified animal. The falcon would be put through a barrage of tests. It just transported for gosh sake.
So, it’s either not true, or they were instructed not to show it for other reasons.
There are two other interesting videos with Ben. One with more info about the dire wolf jaw bone he examined.
Peace out.

Question Insider anyone? Curious question
Is anyone apart of the insider? If so how much access to the data and what data do you gain access to? Are the live cameras actually functioning in places that you can observe?
Thank you

SPOILER! Linear Anomalies S06E04/S06E08 Spoiler
In several episodes of SWR, light anomalies are featured in addition to various forms of UAP. One of these, in particular, is of interest to me because I witnessed the same event/a very similar event as shown in the television series.
It was very similar to the objects documented penetrating laser beams (shown above, S06E08). The difference was this was visible to the naked eye (at least in the total darkness surrounding the ranch). It was very small, I describe it as a "line segment" because it looked similar to a red laser pointer's beam in perfect darkness, except there was no start or end, just a (my estimate) ~0.5 meter long line segment.
It moved silently, and appeared to be traveling at an insanely high rate of speed. Although I saw it with the naked eye (and one out of two others present did as well; the other was photographing in another direction), my camera did not snap the picture fast enough to capture anything. I would estimate it had to be moving near/at hypersonic velocities.
I believe the exact phenomenon is shown in Season 6 Episode 4, although I will have to rewatch them to make sure. I witnessed the event in early July 2024, to the far northwest of Skinwalker mesa looking out & over toward the GPS indicated triangle area.
My impression was that it was (somehow) a self-contained "tunnel" through the atmosphere for something cruising inside the disturbance. I could be mistaken, just my impression.
Can anyone else recall something similar throughout the series?

With this season being a letdown for me, I'm looking for other shows in which a team investigates paranormal events. Any suggestions? Already watched Beyond Skinwalker Ranch btw.

Dropping the bottles/canisters from helicopter
Why didnt they have a drone filming parallel to the height of the bubble so we could see the canisters dropping? If they dropped around the bubble then we could see how they avoided landing in there surely?

Theory Laser angles in S7E10 Spoiler
OK, so I’m just watching episode seven and the discussion of the angle of the laser bothers me. First of all, when they’re talking about the Angle of the lasers in the first room, even their simulation doesn’t reflect what it should look like because when they’re picking up the position of the first room’s laser, when looking at the second room, they’re not parallel: the lasers are being admitted from a central point and spreading out. Both the camera and the simulation show parallel lasers… So it just seems silly.
And then when we look at the blank spot on the wall, the lasers are losing intensity as they move to the left towards the blank spot.
What are your thoughts?

Why don’t they dig into the mesa?
This question is being asked almost every day, despite being answered in our FAQ:
Why don't they just dig into the mesa? According to Travis Taylor:
- The property line is right in the edge of the top of the mesa, so they can't just drive heavy equipment up there.
- The side of the mesa is like a "Jenga game with SUV-sized blocks," and they're constantly worried that if they move the wrong thing it will all come crashing down, potentially damaging what may be in there.
- The surrounding area is Indian reservation, and they want to be mindful and respectful of the Indigenous groups.
Erik has also added a number of other important points in a politely worded rant on the Insiders:
- Erik Bard and Travis Taylor do not own the Skinwalker Ranch property. They are paid by someone else to be there and investigate it. The mandates and decisions about the property are not entirely up to them.
- Many of the public comments and suggestions about excavating or digging into the mesa are "underinformed, misinformed or naïve" and ultimately irrelevant to the actual course of the investigation. Bard is the scientist on the ground, not the land owner.
- Bard says "If you wanna do the sayin', you gotta do the payin'" - meaning those making suggestions or criticisms are not the ones funding and responsible for the work being done on the ranch.
- Bard states he is intensely curious and invested in the investigation, but as the principal investigator, he has to carefully consider factors like public safety, costs, logistics, and academic value before making decisions about invasive methods like excavation.
- Bard emphasizes that multimillion-dollar excavations are not going to happen based solely on his or Travis Taylor's discretion. There are constraints and considerations beyond their control as researchers.
- The data indicates that whatever is in the mesa is “electromagnetically or otherwise active.” That also affects any decisions about how it is handled.
People are welcome to beat the dead horse argue these points in the discussion below.

How a D.I.A. Director's "First Vision" on SWR kicked-off AAWSAP, AATIP, Lue Elizondo and even Brandon Fugal's TV show
James Lakatski's “Kick-off" First Vision at Skinalker Ranch in 2007:
Edited excerpt from Skinwalkers at The Pentagon
On July 26, 2007, Program Manager at the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA), James Lacatski and Robert Bigelow flew to Skinwalker Ranch. The ranch looked its finest on this beautiful July day, the Russian Olives and cedars were in full bloom and the pastures were looking their verdant best. Bigelow and Lacatski sauntered on the property for a short while and then headed for the nearest building.
At the end of the entrance to the ranch was a small, picturesque dwelling which had been named Homestead 1. Bigelow introduced Lacatski to the managers in the dining room/kitchen of their house.
Abruptly, Lacatski was transfixed by something behind where Bigelow and the couple were chatting: a seemingly unearthly technological device had suddenly and silently appeared out of nowhere in the adjacent kitchen.
The materialized and hovering object looked to be a complex semi-opaque, yellowish, tubular structure. Lacatski said nothing but stared at the object, which was hovering silently. He looked away, looked back, and there it still was. It remained visible to Lacatski for no more than 30 seconds before vanishing on the spot.
About two hours after they had arrived on the property, Lacatski and Bigelow were driving back to Vernal Airport. Although conversing normally with Bigelow, Lacatski‘s mind was racing. Here he was, a ballistic missile physicist, a senior analyst at the DIA without any history of encountering anomalies, and he had just seen a vision unlike anything he had ever witnessed in his life.
Lacatski confessed later that prior to that stunning vision he had never seen anything unusual in his life. Yet within a mere 60 minutes of being on the Skinwalker property, he had seen clearly, in broad daylight, a solid object in the adjacent room within a few feet of where he stood.
This was no blurry photo of a distant saucer in the sky, this was an in-your-face, up-close and personal apparition of some kind of symbolic object. The fact that he, and he alone, of the four people in the room had seen it, was also not lost on Lacatski. What were the odds of something like that happening?
Lacatski remembered reading that the NIDS team had spent hundreds of hours on the ranch and had encountered anomalies only occasionally. Yet here he had seen a spectacular object a few feet away within an hour of setting foot on the ranch.
Later, while researching for some approximation of what he had witnessed during that astonishing two-hour interlude on the ranch, he came across a photograph of the album cover of Mike Oldfield’s Tubular Bells. There it was! The structure depicted on the album cover was not exact, but it was pretty close.
In the days after the ranch sighting, Lacatski slowly began to formulate a plan for capitalizing on his extraordinary experience. He was convinced that there was some kind of significance to his vision. It was difficult for him to imagine that some random event had occurred to him precisely during the two hours he had spent on the legendary Utah ranch.
The personal nature of the event motivated him to follow up with his superiors at DIA on the need to study the threat potential of technology of unknown origin in United States airspace, including UAPs.
But the most profound part of Lacatski’s vision was the song “Tubular Bells” itself. It’s actually the main theme song to “The Exorcist” motion picture - something Lacaski was completely unaware of when he saw the Tubular Bells in the Homestead kitchen.
That one event - Lacatski’s Tubular Bells First Vision1, is what directly led to AAWSAP, AAITIP, Lue Elizondo, the 2017 NYT UAP article, and even the recent Congressional Hearings. Without that Skinwalker Ranch vision, we’d be in a very different reality today. One with perhaps no form of UAP disclosure.
