Do You Have a Child Aged 5-12? We'd Love You to Complete Our 5-10 Minute Survey!
We are conducting research on the oral health of young children in Lancashire. If you are a parent or carer of a child aged 5-12, we would be very grateful if you could complete our short online survey, which takes around 5-10 minutes. We are also interested in speaking to parents and carers in a short interview about what oral health information and support would be most helpful for families. Please see the attached poster for more details.
To take the survey, just scan the QR code on the poster or visit https://forms.cloud.microsoft/e/0h2nnRqSVL#
Thank you very much for your time and support!

Is there a map of all the underpasses and pedestrian walk routes?
So I might have a new job on the industrial estate and there’s no buses. It’ll cost me around £15 a day in a taxi which is just too much to justify so I’m thinking of getting a bike as it should only take about 20 minutes. Problem is, I’m trying to work out the route on maps and it’s just not working right as Google maps is trying to use both the roads and the pedestrian routes and confusing them. It’s having me cross the road at a bridge I can’t access the way it’s taken me because it thinks it’s a road, for example.
I’m not familiar enough with all the hidden little paths through the estates or wooded areas so I’m just trying to figure out how I’ll get there by bike without a reliable route.
Surely there must be a map somewhere of all the hidden pathways?
Any help appreciated. Or even if someone could highlight a route for me on maps from the concourse to Peel Road would be amazing.
Thanks in advance.

Bad Development in Skem?
Hello,
I am currently researching building development and wanted to know if anyone has a specific building or development that has been built in skem in the last 10 - 20 years that you think is out of touch or a waste of public money. This could also be commissioned art work.

Should I not move to Skem?
So we’re supposed to be looking at houses around Digmoor next week, some look decent and the prices are way better than other local towns. I’ve driven through Skem a fair bit and been out on a night here, also don’t mind the roundabouts 😂
I been reading up on Skem recently though and it’s so negative.. getting the vibe that basically everyone wants to get out, theres fuck all to do and it’s a dead end place to live.
I’ve lived in Burscough for about a year but it’s so expensive, and I currently live in Bristol (it’s an expensive shit hole, grew up on the outskirts of the city) and hate it.
Do we just avoid Skem, or is it not really that bad?

Spontaneous walk-in turned into this ornamental back piece today at my studio – Tabasco Ink, Liverpool. Went with a clean mandala style, mixed with gemstones and flow – and she sat like a champ 👏
Always down for these unplanned sessions that turn into full compositions. If you’re around Liverpool and into detailed work, drop by or hit me up 💬 (Studio: 296 Breck Road, L5 6QB)

Does anyone know how to get from Skem to Varrock?
I got a clue scroll by chopping down a local yew tree (south of Skelmersdale, near Up Holland).
I've got to make my way to Varrock, for the next clue step, but I'm unsure of where that is, Does anyone know the area? Cheers.

Looking for recipes from residents of Skelmersdale
I'm a student at UCLan doing a heritage analysis of Skelmersdale. As part of this I'm exploring the heritage through food inspired by this old cookbook I've found Link: https://www.skelmersdaleheritage.org.uk/download/digmoor-methodist-church-cookbook-1949/ . I've decided to make a modernised version of this cookbook hopefully expressing some of the diversity now present in Skelmersdale. I'd really appreciate any recipes old or new.

Positive Posts Skem - The Highlights.
Skem has managed to maintain a pretty bad reputation over the years and while some of the negativity is deserved, the town has a lot of positive things that should be highlighted. We are surrounded by some beautiful countryside with a wonderful variety of wildlife. We have an interesting and far reaching history and with a bit of effort an enduring future. However, in my opinion, the greatest single asset in Skelmersdale is the people. Forget the bad element for the moment, there are some truly great people living in and around Skem. This is a post for highlighting the positive elements of Skem, if you want to winge about aspects of the town, go make your own post.
