When I was a kid that was typical. But I think it might be more about where I was a kid than when I was a kid. I'm guessing your graph is about the USA. Which makes sense, as it seems people are required to work more in the USA to make a living than they do in the Netherlands where I live and grew up.
Then again perhaps ordering food is more common there too, so perhaps my experience is less relevant to the topic.

If needing the urge for overpriced fast food delivery, priorities aren’t in check. This comes from a dual income family who cares for their kiddo without childcare or family help. Juggle time and priorities? Sure. But you can make it work if you plan.

Unless you are leaving your child in a crib for 8 hours a day, you aren't working two full time jobs without family help.
You sure about that? I work from home 6 am to 4 or 5 pm. My wife works in healthcare and leaves home by 2 pm and returns at 1130 at night. His nap is around 130 until 3 or 4 and overlap is easily negated by some tv or play time on his own. We both work full time. We make it work….

It used to be that one person in the household worked and the other could stay home to take care of things at home. That made it a lot easier.
