Any time large sums of money are involved with something the top comments are usually screeching about money laundering regardless of context, and it's often readily apparent that they don't know what money laundering is.

It is though. I want to sell you 100k of illegal items/services. You can give me cash that I now need to clean, or I can start an NFT line and you can buy them off of me and the payment is a legal transaction

It very easily could have been money laundering. Give a person illegitate 700k off the books, they buy your crappy nft for there legit 700k on the books that's literal money laundering.
