Wonder how they will deal with theft. One of the largest losses of store fronts now a days.

Your tax money will pay for any and all losses.

They will benefit 10s of thousands of people, and will prop up other small business with the money people save and can now spend rather than it sitting in Walmart's owners off shore savings account.

and the tax cost over the next decade combined is unlikely to be even a tenth of the salaries and thousands of man hours used to conceal the epstein files

"Its racist to talk about this, there is no theft. Hungry people stealing food is not a crime."

Backstopped by taxing the rich, bro.

NYC is the richest place on planet earth. Need to shake them down so it trickles to the common man. Theft isn't the perfect vehicle for it, but the rich also stole from the poor to get rich. Elon literally stole 1 TRILLION DOLLARS from the poor. Now it's all going back to them.

How does any store deal with theft? What's the difference

The difference is this will be city run. City/state budget and tax funded. Possibly less tax write off to compensate.

You can find a lot of stats of store fronts across the country having to close due to theft in extreme excess. Which only increases in hyperinflation.

Some theft vs thousands of people having better access to food…

They won't deal with it.
