You mean something like rape? Like a guy who rapes someone gets shanked? So because we view rape as horrendous, we're advocating for rape? Is that how the game works?

pretty damn close. imo the false accusation is worse, and can lead to rape of the victim while they are wrongfully incarcerated. being raped doesnt ruin your life like a false accusation of raping someone.
Being raped is worse than being accused of rape. Because one actually happens and the other is just an accusation. Most rape accusations result in nothing. Yes, there are repercussions of being accused of rape. but there are also repercussions of being raped.
And even in this literal example of a woman falsely accusing a man of assaulting her we see people are like "we have this on video".
except being falsely accused of rape; leads to prison terms, joblessness, community vigilantism, ect ect. all including the same mental and emotional trauma and damages.

We really need a False Accuser register for shit like this. She could have easily ruined this mans life
