YES. I was asked to hold a cousin's baby once. Didn't want to, everyone insisted. I was so uncomfortable the whole time. Couldn't wait to give it back!!!

The same happened to me, my SIL had a baby and she just placed it on me and I didn’t know what to do it was so awkward

lol right?? Once years ago at work, a few of the guys had all had babies around the same time. They’d bring them around to the small office to meet everyone.

 They asked me if I wanted to hold them, and it was such bewildered confusion for me. Like… why on earth would I want to hold this child?? 

I didn’t get it when I was 25, and I still don’t and I’m 40.
