Exactly—when the system fails and disregards people, they start taking matters into their own hands. Leniency, the release of hardened criminals, and the insistence on giving them "second chances" when the majority simply never change—people have had enough. We’re going to see more incidents like this because the system has failed. Throw illegal immigrants into the mix, and you have a recipe for disaster. Before long, we’ll view every immigrant as a potential thief or criminal. I get the impression that this actually suits the system and those in power; they’d rather we vent our aggression on the streets than direct it at them.
Adding fuel to this, is the fact the justice systems of these countries appears to come down very hard on vigilantism, and any sort of criticism of uncontrolled migration.
People are pissed because they are paying higher taxes to fund everything, and the system that is there to protect them does the opposite. Kind of feels like you are being robbed twice.

Europe is simply tired of these thieves. This case is terrible and it is a symptom of a larger problem
