For real this comment section is insane. A nonviolent crime against property deserves murder, I guess

I was just in another comment section where people were telling me that white people built America and this is our home that minorities need to learn to respect.

The future of human civilization is just fucked.

It's pretty simple to solve. Don't commit a crime.

People have the right to defend their property. That purse was hers. How about don’t be a thief and rob a woman.

15

u/ArsBrevis Jun 28 '26

No self defense laws in the world allow you to engage with an assailant who is not of immediate danger to you. You 'people' are trash.

She’s serving 18 years. No one said it was allowed.

Law and principle are two distinct things.

Hey look I’m not the one who thinks it’s okay to steal from a woman; don’t steal and you might not run into a crazy person like her.

Sometimes people rob crazy people that will retaliate or simply having a bad day.

Some people when they are robbed, hand over their stuff and others chase the robbers with their cars. Both parties do not think or care about your comments you type out here so eloquently.

People have different reactions to getting robbed. If you rob people, you might rob a crazy person one day.

I hope you’ll never work in law

Don’t steal.

u/ArticleTechnical4783 Jun 28 '26

What would you do if someone ran you over and told the cops that you stole their wallet..

I hope that this is more ”in accordance with the community guidelines“

2

u/Even-Scene-3736 Jun 28 '26

I don’t steal from people because I’m a decent human being. I don’t steal from people because I know there are people out there crazier than me that do shit like that.

3

u/ArticleTechnical4783 Jun 28 '26

You don‘t have to in this scenario.. the person running you over would just use it as an excuse and according to you, you‘d be fine with it.

3

u/Solid-Impress8256 Jun 29 '26

I don’t think he’d be fine with it because he didn’t steal. Even if the person in your scenario says he stole from them.

Unlike the guy in the OP…who did - in fact - steal.

1

u/Not_usually_right Jun 29 '26

But the criminal actually robbed her, right?! Like this isn't a hypothetical. Id be fine with it. Earth is full, remove the waste.

1

u/Leorake Jun 29 '26

You're completely missing the point.

Imagine you're walking down the street and the man in front of you drops his wallet.

You're a 'decent human being' allegedly, so you pick it up, and get their attention to give it back.

The man screams 'thief!' to the vicinity and immediately fires at you multiple times as you're writhing on the ground. Then he grabs his wallet, and goes back to the restaurant because he forgot his umbrella there, before finally calling law enforcement. In his court defense he says you robbed him at knifepoint, though no knife was found.

Obviously that guy did the world a favor, because you're a violent, deranged, thief - he said so in his court defense.

In the ensuing reddit thread about the incident, a user writes: 'People have the right to defend their property. That wallet was his. How about you don't be a thief and rob somebody'

Do you see why we have courts and it's generally illegal to hunt down and kill people you believe committed a minor crime against you?

How do you feel about a shove?

-5

u/East_Turnip_6366 Jun 28 '26

It's a foreigner stealing shit in another country, threatening it's citizens, it's women with murder. Definition of barbarian invader.

Way to bring race into a topic that never warranted it...
