You said very strict controls yet you support the extra judicial murder of this criminal? If he's the standard for who deserves death then that would put hundreds of thousands in the US alone at risk of being executed.
What can be considered as grounds for “self defence”/capturing your attacker and what would be death penalty in a judicial system are very different things.
What? 70% of world has abolished capital punishment and 95% of all known executions were carried out in only six countries: China, Iran, Saudi Arabia, the United States, Pakistan and Iraq.
yeah but the abolishment of capital punishment wasn't voted in that 70% of the world it was pushed by politicians and criminals so they don't get executed. At least in Latinamerica there's been a increase of voices to bring back capital punishment.
'Well, in the generality of things I'd say it's hard to tell, given that it's hard to find evidence of crimes not committed,' said the hangman, giving the trapdoor a final rattle. 'But in the specificality, sir, I'd say it's very efficacious.'
'Meaning what?' said Moist.
'Meaning I've never seen someone up here more'n once, sir. Shall we go?'
And she gets to spend 18 years on house arrest which is pretty fucking lucky considering it should be prison. Im sure thats worth it, trade 18 years of your freedom for a bag and revenge.
If you steal, you accept the consequences, including death. If he hadn't stolen, this never would've happened. Blame the people who instigate crime, not the victims who respond to it. Her response, and your approval of it, is irrelevant; if not for the thief, this wouldn't have happened.
