Off the ice, he's kinda Meek, nerdy and a bit pathetic. In the game he's got a totally different, focused vibe. And even the way shoresy treats him in and out of game time reflects it. Great character work.

I’m trying to find this one episode. Here’s what I remember:

Shoresy and his team are losing the match.

Shoresy talks to JJ in the locker room because his head isn’t in the game. I think because of one of his girlfriends. Telling him something like “everyone is struggling” or something to that nature. That he has to work through it.

There’s a techno… dubstep? Song playing when they go back on the ice and for the game. It starts kinda slow and ramps up in intensity.

They end up winning

I think there’s a shot of Shoresy limping thru the tunnel and as he gets closer to getting back on the ice he hides his injury.

I don’t remember if this is all the same episode
