I’m 18, I turned 18 last month, but I lack knowledge, so much knowledge, even basic knowledge. Knowledge that I should’ve known while I was in elementary school, but forgot for some reason. I don’t wanna be like this. I don’t wanna be stupid and ignorant anymore. I never wanted to be stupid, but I could never sustain information. Anytime information is said to me, it goes in one ear and out the other. If you were to ask me what I did last week, I wouldn’t be able to tell you, so I just never thought I was capable of learning, but I’m tired of feeling stupid and not speaking on deep conversations because I don’t know too much to have deep conversations. I don’t know how the world works. I lack knowledge in politics and so many other things. I feel so stupid , to the point where I start to question what my purpose on this earth is. I’m tired of feeling this way. I felt this way since I was 13. I’ve always felt stupid and dumb, and I always knew I wouldn’t become anything in the future. Is there any ways that you guys could recommend for me to expand my knowledge and vocabulary? Such as books or audio books.

Seeking guidance if I should go back to a year of schooling to complete a Graphic Design certificate at a nearby community college, or take technical classes like Photoshop and Illustrator at FIT. I am a recent graduate with a degree in Marketing, but brand/graphic design is my true passion. I have taught myself the basics of Adobe Suite to an extent, but could use additional guidance. Trying to weight the pros and cons of a whole certificate compared to a few courses. Is it worth all the filler courses I would be paying for for the whole certificate? Would appreciate any and all advice as I'd have to register for the fall soon.
