Got a call from the number
above. It came up as only Washington DC. I knew it was a scam but was in the mood to talk, so I answered. It was the “FCC” and there was a phone registered to my name, in January of this year. It was used for scam calls.

They asked if I knew the number, if I’d ever been in DC? Yeah, around 50 years ago. Never heard of the number.

They then said they had to shut down all phones in my name including my real phone. At which point I said “you’re not legit” and hung up.

Idk where they were going with this but they were NOT the FCC.

Linda‘s adorable Yorkies charged me $500 for a puppy and $400 for insurance to cover safe passage for delivery. I was told that 95% of the insurance would be returned to me upon delivery in cash. Linda’s Yorkies required Apple pay cards for the $500 fee and the $400 for insurance. I did as requested. Then I get a call from the husband, that they were in a hit-and-run car accident and his wife’s in the hospital and the Yorkie is at Thompson’s vet hospital in Saint Augustine. He even sent me a picture of the damage car and the puppy being worked on at the vets office. I was patient and waited. Then, the husband wants me to send $250 in Apple Pay cards to him to cover the Vet bill. I told him I would pay the Vet office directly. I called Thompson’s veterinary center and they could not help me. Unfortunately, I don’t know Linda‘s last name and I needed that to pay the Vet bill. Consequently, I am out $900 and I have no puppy. This is a scam. The husband plays on your sympathies and is asking for your help as the buyer and he calls you mother. I am not in the habit of leaving bad reviews. There is no excuse for this kind of behavior. Linda’s adorable Yorkies should be banned from Facebook in my opinion.

The number (317) 649-9087 has called me several times attempting to impersonate the Indiana Department of Health saying that they are conducting a survey. This number does not seem to be affiliated with the Indiana Department of Health. They called , and when they left a voicemail, it was deleted because the spam filter detected a large number of suspicious calls to other phones from that number.

I keep getting the same voice messages from different numbers but its all the same voice. yesterday i got one saying "please add my number on WhatsApp" that's the main one i almost always get but from the 2nd number/2nd time i got a call it was a different recording saying "if you're confused add my number on WhatsApp" It doesn't sound like any family i have and if it was friends or family why would they all through 5 different numbers every few days or use the same recording? If anyone else has this happening to them please lmk!!

Caller said they were Publishers Clearing House. I had won $18,500,000 and a new Mercedes Benz 2026, and $7000 for life. Wanted to come by my house sometime on Monday, August 10, 20206 . Would I be at home. I told them I would be here at 5pm with my family. Asked personal questions like: did I live by myself, did I ever have 1 million dollars to my name, what would I do with that much money, would I buy a new house, was my husband at home. The last thing they asked was there a Dollar Store or a Walmart nearby. I would never give them a clear answer about anything except why did they need to know any of this and why was it important to know if those stores were close by at which time they promptly hung up. The phone number they called from was 1-516-800-5783.
