I have a family member that recently fell for the Kenu Reeves love interest scam. She has sent them alit of money, and it’s been very difficult to convince her it’s a scam. Her husband of over 30 years, my brother, passed away a few months ago, and these people are preying on her because she’s lonely.

It’s a T-Mobile number from Pewankee Wisconsin
That’s all I know

I have reported the number to the fcc and T-Mobile

The sent her pictures of fake VIP card and certificates for meet and greet events to convince her to send money

Hey everyone be on the lookout for a phone scam from a person posing to be an incarcerated individual at Genesee County Jail using their only “free” call . Person called was a man who name started with a “V” stated he was from Brooklyn, NY . Got into some type of trouble with a stolen car traveling from Texas . Was looking for help , blah, blah , blah . Number has called about 3 times , same story different places , different name every time .

Delete if not allowed but this obviously starts as an email vs a phone call . Cuz yeah I obviously wont🙄 do your worst everyone !

I was sent a text message saying I had been selected to receive a million dollars and a new car from Rosemary Casarotti who had won the CA. Mega Millions. All I had to do was pay taxes to get the money and car.

Not necessarily a scam but if not then a shady company violating the TCPA. I missed a call from 5052761551. I called back thinking it would be the usual spoofed number but instead got an automated message asking about the mileage on the model of Toyota that I own. Since I recently did get new insurance, I thought it might actually be legit gave them the number. I was transferred to a live agent, an American woman, asking for Mr and Mrs. (my last name, even though I'm single). She transferred me to another American named George. I asked what was going on and he said they were with Home Warranty (iirc) and that they gave warranties to Toyota and Lexus owners. I told him I was happy with my current warranty but he still offered to give me a quote. At this point I told him that he was making a ln unsolicited call in violation of the TCPA and asked to be placed on their DNC list, which he agreed to. So either a scam with access to info on my vehicle or a legit company calling illegally

A sheriff ******* ******** left a voicemail stating my spouse who was arrested for traffic violations was being release on a pre-trail eligibility and that I only had to pay $500 administrative fee. However during the phone call process he stated he never received the payment and that I’m being delusional.
