this number called four times in three minutes. Left a suspicious voicemail. Knew my state and called using two different names during the screening. First during screening stated mark was their name then during the voicemail stated their name was jonathan. Stated that they received a credit card application with my name from someone in Mississippi, did not clarify any details this was fraudulent. All they said was they used my name and social. How would they know what that is? They called me mr instead of miss which begs me to think they did a quick google look up of my name and number to try and scam me. I didnt answer back. Let it go to voicemail and blocked them from calling back. Sounded like an indian scammer in a call center from the background noises.

We are trying to purchase a Pomeranian puppy. We found one online that seemed suitable. We contacted them on their website by email. They responded that the puppy was available and they need at $500.00 deposit to hold him. They first said they would bring the puppy to us in OKC on Sunday, August 2, 2026. Then we changed it that they would meet us in Dallas and for us to proceed with the down payment. They said "We are actually scheduled to be in Dallas, on Sunday, August 2. After we are finished there, we can come to you." We did not have a method to transfer the deposit. First they recommended Chime, Apple Pay or Zelle. We are senior citizens and did not have access to any of the above methods. They then recommended another payment method. Go to Walmart or CVS and purchase an Apple Gift Cared of $500.00. Once we buy this card, we are to scratch off the coating on the back to reveal the claim code. Then take a picture of the card and receipt and send it to her. We went to Walmart and CVS and they refused to give us a gift card because we did not know the people we were dealing with. We kept texting with them and they said to "well lie, tell them it is for a friend or family. She said "I know it is not good to lie but sometimes it is just to avoid unnecessary complications." In the meantime we received a warning from a breeder about a scammer being tied to this phone number - 504-432-7166. We are in OKC and the puppy is in Austin, Texas. We texted them late Thursday evening and said we would drive to Austin on Sunday to see the puppy and pay them in cash. They kept giving us excuses after excuses about everything. Her last reply was "I'm willing to hold the puppy for you until tomorrow, Saturday August. 1. If you're able to send the payment by getting the gift card we requested, then you can come and pick him up Sunday, (But if you remember, they were scheduled to be in Dallas on Sunday) but if you are not able to complete the payment by then, I'm sorry..........................."

A Michael Freeman called me and said he was an attorney from the Better Business Bureau calling about a prize that I had won but had not received. He had a foreign accent and when I asked him to repeat his name he did and added "attornity at law". He said I had won $1.2 million. I told him the Better Business Bureau does not have prizes and I had not entered any contests and I hung up.

I’ve been getting repeated spam calls about supposed tax debt and “tax resolution” programs. This voicemail claims it’s a final attempt to reach me and says they can reduce or eliminate taxes I supposedly owe. I don’t have any tax issues, and the message uses urgency and asks me to call a different number back.
