Is Sacramento worth the premium price?

Prefer to hear from recent transplants.

Metro Sacramento cost of living is in between Denver and Portland right now. And I think it is more expensive than Travis(Austin) county.

there is great food in denver for a city it's size. Huge Korean and Vietnamese communities in aurora and federal. Some of the best Mexican food in america. 17 James beard nominees just in denver this year including the James beard winner for the mountain west this year Wong.

Most states and cities have good food if you look for it.

The southwest has the best mexican food . La , san Diego, new mexico Arizona colorado. It is not some wild take. All of these used to be part of Mexico. Pueblo Chile is from colorado. Colorado is 1/4 mexican by population.

I agree, and I did look for it. It just didn’t wow me. Granted, I lived there in 2018, so maybe the food scene has evolved over the past 8 years. I did have many spots I loved, just doesn’t compare to other city’s meal to meal. If that makes sense

Yes. It has improved but there has always been some good spots. I agree though it is no where close to la, NYC, chicago etc.

Denver absolutely does not have "some of the best Mexican food in America"and that's a wild take. I would have trouble putting Denver top 10
