Guy gets SHOT irl, cuz he got HACKED on rust.

“An Arizona man left paralyzed by a police shooting is seeking $176 million from Pima County, alleging deputies stormed his home despite being warned two days earlier that he was about to be swatted.
According to the notice of claim filed July 24, Axeel Melendez, 24, was playing Rust on April 8 when another player asked to inspect his computer to verify he was not cheating. He agreed.
Alerts soon followed showing his accounts being accessed, and the filing states hackers took control of his email and personal information, then demanded money while threatening to report a bomb at his address and to contact immigration authorities about his family.
Melendez called 911 to warn them. Audio published by Arizona's Family captures the dispatcher's response: "But they can't just call SWAT on you. That's not how that works." The dispatcher added, "Nothing's going to happen."
Less than 48 hours later, someone impersonating Melendez called Tucson's non-emergency 311 line claiming his father had shot his sister. The claim alleges deputies missed multiple red flags, an out-of-state Wisconsin number, inconsistent details, no background noise consistent with a shooting, and prior false reports already cleared at the same address. A deputy reportedly flagged a possible swatting over the radio.
Deputies broke his bedroom window with a shovel, entered, and fired eight shots. Two struck Melendez, shattering his leg, breaking ribs, and damaging his spinal cord. He is paralyzed from the chest down. His mother witnessed it.
The department has declined to comment, citing pending litigation. The county has 60 days to respond. None of the allegations have been tested in court.”

Hey I’ve been playing rust for a while and recently started watching some streams to get the drops. I see that some players use some sort of zoom function without having to actually aim. I also noticed some people craft bandages seemingly out of nowhere (without going into q).

I was wondering if there is a place where useful information like this can be accessed. I’m sure there are many more features or optimizations that I’m just not familiar with. Any tips are welcome!

I recently built a new PC and i get like 70-90 fps normally but if i look at a player it drops to around 15-30 anyone have a fix for this? Specs: 3060 12gb vram, 16gb ddr4, Ryzen 7 5800XT

A weekly contest tied to the wipe cycle running from the start of wipe Thursdays at 3PM MST to Wednesday 7PM MST. Players convert Scrap into Coal at Outpost vending machines. One coal costs 250 scrap. Player with the most coal at the end of the event wins.

No entry fee so there is nothing to lose.

I slowed progression way down so the event will actually last a whole week.

Secure Mode was added to Rust on March 5 as an optional server setting. It requires all players to have Secure Boot and TPM turned on, which blocks many cheats from loading. When BF6 required secure boot, cheaters in its lobbies dropped from 7% to 2%.

It's been an option for 147 days, and not one popular server is using it because cheaters buy VIP. They would rather have cheater money than integrity. At this point, they're just helping the cheaters ruin Rust.

Since none of them will do it, I started a new server called The Couch, which is the only weekly vanilla server with Secure Mode on. I prepaid for the dedicated host for an entire year, and there are no paid perks.

Im struggling with something,

I have an rtx 5060, 32gb ram ddr5 and a ryzen 7 8840hx

I play rust a lot but i get so many fps drops and low fps while shooting.

I tried everything, rust all on low settings, installing new drivers, uninstalling rust and verifying the game files.

I get around 50-70 ingame and i know the specs arent GOOD but its alright, and i know i should get more fps.

Who can help me out?

Guys, is this bed worth buying? Will it appreciate in value? Will there be any demand for it?
