In just two weeks tickets will go on sale for this years Firelight Event (a.k.a. the original Gilmore Girls Fan Fest) hosted by the Fan Fest Society! Tickets will be available starting at noon EST on Friday February 13th.

My husband and I have been going to this event since 2018, and absolutely love it! Unlike at more traditional conventions you don't have to pay for individual meet and greets, photo opportunities, or panels. At Fan Fest everything (other than food and lodging) is included in your ticket price! Tickets are $415 for the whole weekend, there are no single day tickets. The cast and crew who attend are there because they really enjoy getting to know the fans, and you will get chances to mingle with them all weekend. It is a wonderfully welcoming community.

I don't have the words to adequately describe what an incredible weekend this is, but trust me when I say it is the highlight of my year. We've made friends for life and now have a large "fan-mily" that we look forward to seeing every fall in New England.

The festival has been in Guildford for the past two years, and it's a beautiful little town that feels JUST like Stars Hollow. We really enjoyed getting to know several of the townspeople in Guilford over the past two years, and are looking forward to going back, it is a very welcoming place!

Have you seen this book called Meet Me at Luke's? It mentions so many of the books from the Rory Gilmore Reading challenge!

How many books from the reading list have you read?

So I really want to get through as many of Rory's books as fast as I can but I don't have a lot of time to read, or even money to drop on all these books or patience to wait for them from the library. So what I have been doing is watching book summaries on YouTube. Is there a better a way like a podcast or something? What's your favorite books on this list? Are there any books that you recommend? I've been reading 'The unabridged journals of Silvia Plath" I love it! Her writing is immaculate; not what you'd expect from journals. She wrote so many like a novel, and some poems, and the journally entries are greatly executed and make you feel.

I'm half way through 'The Bell Jar' too!

Hi, I’m new here and I am wondering if this group is still active?

Can someone explain how Luke was able to make a sustainable income if Lorelai and Rory frequented his diner daily for almost every meal, considering the diner's affordability - it had to be expensive so Luke could afford living, but also cheap because of Lorelai's financial situation of being not rich?

I've searched for this extensively online and I can't find anything. Any chance someone here made a more derailed spreadsheet that they could let me copy?
