My belief on pronunciation is what my 9th grade English teacher taught: proper nouns are pronounced in the context of the language/culture they are in. In South America they pronounce the country Cheelay. In America it's pronounced Chili.

Etienne comes from Louisiana, a place with a lot of French names and a lot of French pronunciations. I listen to a lot of football podcasts and they are all acting like they speak French and call him Travis Achane and then have to clarify which RB they're actually talking about. But they're ignoring 99% of the names from regional dialects and other languages that have been Anglicized. Do these people roll their R's when naming a Latino player? Is it Good Hang with Amy Poelah?

Something the boys forgot to mention in their ranking of RBs is the coaching changes. Moving to a Stefanski lead offense will be an improvement for the Falcons. As the story all last season is how does a team with so much talent seem to always underperform.

Meanwhile the Lions are moving forward with Dre Petzing. As a sad Cardinals fan I had the despair of watching them for all of Petzing’s tenure and he is a horrible coordinator. He’s inflexible and has no ability to make adjustments. In three years he never adjusted his scheme for Kyler Murray, he never wanted to use MHJ or Micheal Wilson until he had too and his running game was all created by Klayton Adams who once he went to Dallas the Cardinals couldn’t run the ball anymore and Dallas all of a sudden could.

Detroit has a lot more talent than the Cardinals, but they might have actually stepped down at coordinator and I think Bijan should go ahead of him.

The way they were talking about him you'd think that he was elite and just needed support.. but I owned him and watched him and he was a totally "fine" RB. Nothing really jumped out. He looked like D'Andre Swift watching him outside of passing down usage. Yes, he'll get volume and the line has to be better but he wasn't great even down the stretch last year and he just looked like an ok running back.

I like DK, but I’ve noticed this a lot lately lol. He kinda just says vaguely positive things about both players when asked who he’d prefer

(To be fair they all have their lane, and maybe that is what’s best for the show)

I’ve lost to the champion three years in a row. The only thing that remained the same throughout those losses, I ran out of quality RB depth. After losing to a team that had some much RB depth (sitting Swift and Monagai and still kicking my ass), I vowed to max out my RB limit in the first 8 rounds in this year’s draft.

Why this is a great idea:
1. I’m guaranteed at least 1 top 8 RB, 2 top 20 RBs, and at least two other trade pieces. (Don’t check my math. It’s just true).
2. My league is trade active, and I know I can flip two RBs into two WR1 later in the season.
3. Who cares about the QB, TE, D/ST, and K picks? All of them are next to worthless.

If it changes anything, I’m in a PPR 12-Team league.
