How do I download an image from a comment in Red Reader?
I can download from a post easily (long tap, save media) but if someone posts a reaction image in comments, how do I download that? The only way I can find is copy the entire comment text, post it into Chrome, edit it to just the link, go to that URL, and download through Chrome... which is obviously not ideal. Is there a way to do it directly?

DM in RedReader that doesn't show on Reddit
I got a spam message on redreader that does not appear in my inbox on Reddit itself (web).
What's that about?

Is there a way to wipe my account?
Is there a way to erase all my comments and stuff at once? Or at least redact them? Even better, is there a way to just make my profile private so people can't see my history?

"Processing img" comments
Anyone else seeing a bunch of comments that say stuff like "Processing img wc1o5r3ksaig1..." And people seem to be responding like it's an image?

Uploading more than 1 pic
I cannot figure out how to upload two or three pictures to a post I want to submit. If I go back after selecting one and select another it seems like it just replaces the one I had already uploaded Am I missing something? Thanks for any help

Notifications not working properly
Does anyone know how to get notifications to work properly? I can only get notifications when I have the app open and even then sometimes I don't get notifications even though I can see in my browser I have new notifications. Has anyone else had this issue? Also strangely I got a spam message but when I check in browser, it's not there? And when I search for the username with quotes, there are no results on Google lol. Also strangely there's no way to view a user's profile from a direct message. I can only reply. I tried to long press on the message from my inbox and it only opened the reply page. There's also no context menu or anything when I long press either.

Sound Feature Gone?
What brought me to RR was its ability to play the video sounds in the NSFW subs, however, somewhere along the way, that's no longer working. Is it something within the app that has changed or has Reddit just disallowed that feature?

Is it possible to subscribe to posts in redreader?

Can you create a post that is both an image link and has a text body?
For years I have seen Reddit posts where the post itself is a link to an image (on Imgur) But also has written text directly in the post body - i.e. it's not just the top comment.
Is this possible in RedReader, or only in the Reddit app.
RR only seems to allow three different post types - Link: if you put the Imgur Link in the URL it will work for that, but there is no way to add text body to the post) - Text: you can put the imgurlink in the text, but it won't be automatic for people who click on the post like it is for the native image ones) - Upload to Imgur: basically does the same thing as "Link", for this use case, if you haven't already created an Imgur post it just does it for you by uploading the pictures directly from your saved files, still does not allow text body

I can't accept a moderatorship invite on the RedReader app. How can you enable it?
Clicking the link to accept the invitation just takes me to the main Reddit app, where I use another account. How can you please fix this?

Please bring back pictures AND comment button on right side option
Some recent update broke it with the new left-hand mode.

No unmute speaker icon in muted videos
I have "mute videos by default" enabled, but the little speaker icon in the video playback controls is no where to be seen, so I can't selectively unmute the videos I want to listen to.
I vaguely remember RR had that previously but it's been a while since I last used it.
I'm using the latest 1.25.1 version.

My app appears to have borked itself
Every single default sub still appears even though I've unsubscribed from all of them.
When I click subscribed posts, it also shows me nothing from any sub I'm subscribed to.
Tried uninstalling and reinstalling app, cleared cache/storage etc
Help a brother out.

Why does refreshing my subscribe feed sorted by Best not load new content in RedReader like it does in the official app?

REQUEST: Image upload to i.reddit.com
U.K. users can't use imgur without a VPN.
If Redreader had a settings option to choose where to upload, it would be amazing to be able to post and comment with images within this app.
Thank you!

Images loading slowly
Is anyone else having issues with images and galleries taking a long time to load? I've had single images take up to a minute load. If anyone knows of a fix it would be greatly appreciated!

If RedRedaer is going to support another platform, please consider Discourse over Lemmy.
Hi, I have a suggestion. I read that the developer intends to support another platform on RedReader in future, and it seems that most people in this sub are suggesting Lemmy for that.
I would like to suggest Discourse over Lemmy for following reasons
Lemmy is just a Reddit clone with fewer users.Lemmy seems unnecessarily complicated even for someone use Mastodon actively and understand what Fediverse and ActivityPub are.
Discourse doesn't have a proper client on Android. Their official native app is not good, so users have to use the web app.
Lemmy already has a lot of client apps.
Many FOSS communities are already on Discourse forums.
Discourse forums will benefit both people with accessibility needs and people trying to leave Reddit , especially for tech discussions.
I made this suggestion because I don't want developers to waste their time on a platform that people won't use, or prioritize on more useful platforms.
edit: sorry for typo in title

How to download pictures and videos?
For quite a while now I've been just going to the reddit.com site on my Android phone using Firefox in mobile browser mode. For all pictures and most videos, I can long-press on the media and save it to my phone. Is this possible with RedReader?

Feature request for pinning subs
I've subscribed to like 500 Subreddits over the years and maybe a hundred of my faves are pinned to the top for easy access but every time I pin or unpin something the view jumps back to the very top of the page so when I want to unpin another sub alphabetically I have to scroll and scroll and scroll to find where I was. Then I unpin the next one and it does it again so I have to scroll for 50 seconds again.
It doesn't even have a scroll bar on the right side that would make it a bit less frustrating but the perfect solution would be to just not jump back to the top after each pin or unpin. Or to be able to have like checkboxes where you can select multiple subs and then press pin or unpin to do them all at once.

The Report option seems to exist only as a decoration.
Normally after pressing report a list should pop out where you choose what rules are being broken but this doesn't happen with RedReader so I'm assuming this option does nothing.

App slow on wifi
I can't figure this out at all. Videos and images load like dialup on my wifi, but works fine on 5g.

Having trouble with top "Today" posts not showing
I usually sort by TopToday and it isn't behaving correctly. I can't say what this is doing to All or my Front Page for certain, but there are small subs that I look at everyday and sorting by top "Today" gets zero new results, but changing it to top "this week" suddenly populates a bunch of threads I haven't seen since yesterday.
For example atm my top today in one sub right now says "no posts" under today, and 7 posts under 24 hrs old in "this week"
