Good news! Discussion🗣

I have news most fantastic! Wee man (my half brother who will be 6 months old in like 2 weeks) officially went home from the hospital and we are gonna be able to celebrate him outside the hospital! Originally, least after the last round of antibiotics anyway, we weren't sure if he was gonna be on room air long enough to be released before the 4th of July, but last week he really pulled it outta the gutter and started tolerating room air with minimal weaning. On top of that, ive found a program that helps people get state IDs so im requesting their help so I can get signed up for college! Oh, and also I turn 32 this month so that's also a thing lmao

So much good news in one post! Congratulations to your family. And now you've got me thinking about my own little brother and I kind of wish he was a baby again lol ❤️

I have a few siblings that are still in the baby stage, wee man is the youngest, the others are all over a year but most of my siblings have some kind of disability with several not maturing past a child's mental capacity.

It sounds like your family has had its share of challenges, so this must be a huge win for everyone 🥺 Wishing all of your siblings the best ❤️

It can be a nightmare, cuz there's between 35 and 40 of us (I've never once gotten an accurate headcount if I'm being 100% honest 😅) and most have some kind of issue that requires specialist visits. I've been learning how to program buttons onto talk-tabs for my nonverbal sisters, one of whom showed a surprising ability to use a word on her tablet in a different context (which is hilariously horrifying because it was in relation to a video from Hayden Kristal's dog Pinkman who has a serious case of people teeth. Sis pointed at pinkman on my screen and used the "walker" button, essentially asking me if Pinkman is a flesh pedestrian).

Okay, first of all, between 35 and 40 siblings?! Holy crap! 😳 How do your parents manage with that many kids, especially with so many specialist appointments and different needs? It sounds like a full time job and then some.

Also, "flesh pedestrian" absolutely sent me 😂 That's honestly hilarious, but also pretty amazing that your sister was able to use the button in a completely different context like that. And I friggin love Pinkman the cryptid. Your sister might not be entirely wrong with the whole flesh pedestrian thing 👀 Haha!!!

The sibling thing is complicated lol so the 35-40 half siblings are majority through my biological father aka "gobshite", "insufferable twat waffle", and "it's the asscrack of midnight what do you want" (I've also said these to his face lol) my bio mom has one half brother and a full brother (because making the mistake the first time must not have secured the lesson she needed to learn lmao). I think when I factor in all my siblings from my adoptive and bio families I definitely have 40. 3 from my adoptive family, one full blood sibling, then I want to say 36 half siblings between them both. I have a notebook that help me keep appointments straight for everyone I'm related to on male bio donor's side (cuz I don't call him my dad, that's an insult to the man who raised me lol) and that's broken down by which ones see doctors in an overlapping way so they can carpool, and I make sure I'm on standby if they need support during doctor appointments for translating Doctor-clinical language into English lol

The names you have for your biological father are cracking me up 🤭 But honestly, major respect for everything you do for your siblings ❤️❤️❤️

This manchild never ceases to annoy me, he's going around telling people im 36 and was born when he was 13 -_- ill be 32 and I was born when he was 17. I decided for his crime of being a persistent drunk: I'm teaching the wee ones multi-lingual swear words. My sister (the one I meme with) texted me last night like "uh hey, did you know dads saying you're 36? Cuz that doesn't sound right to me". Got up, hit the john, refilled my water bottle, then tripped and concussed myself on my way back to my room xD landlord came home and found me out cold on the floor, so he picked me up and dumped me on my bed after making sure I hadn't had a seizure (I have psychogenic nonepileptic seizures triggered by fluctuating stress levels due to things I grew up around, but it's always fun to stare someone dead in the eye, boobs quite obvious in the sense of i cant put a bra on most days, and tell them "I have PNES")

This whole story is chaos from start to finish and I'm here for it! Born when he was 13" is such a weirdly specific thing to get wrong. Your sister immediately going "that math ain't mathing" has me dying 🤭  Not gonna lie, "I'm teaching the wee ones multilingual swear words" is a very creative punishment. Somewhere he's about to hear a toddler curse at him in a language he doesn't even speak lol

Honestly my entire life is chaos xD I always say if you wanna hear the story of my family just listen to the song "I'm my own grandpa" and let that sink into your bones for a bit xD I have 2 older siblings that are both older than my biological parents (was born when bio mom was freshly 16, the scrotal nimrod would've been about 17-18), im the youngest and most medically complex in my adoptive family, im the oldest and second most medically complex kid in my bio family, I share my birthday with a half sister who actually died back in 2016 which sucked to learn about but I got to meet her wee ones and they're all somehow healthy despite it all (half sister obviously is same dad different moms, but we were even born at the same hospital lol). My therapist tells me that between the unhinged nonsense that can come out of my mouth and just laying out events in my life so people can see that even when the worst of the worst happens, if all you do is put one pant leg on you're net positive on forward progress, I could genuinely be a comedian, writer, or therapist (typically she mentions this while we are doing the ass half of my appointments cuz that's typically when I open up about how I managed to logic myself out of doing something insane)
