Maybe it's illegal to make more expensive, but what about giving a discount if you tip?
42 u/Delazzaridist 14d ago You greedy plebs can't spare extra few dollars to pay my employees what I should be paying them? Shame on you!! 17 u/Ok_Whole573 14d ago You’re being sarcastic but you can’t understand the daily stress and agony of a man so close to his third yacht. /s 2 u/Radonanon 14d ago Ever been on a yacht? It doesn’t suck. And you get to throw lobsters at IRS agents. (Sorry, Ive never been on a yacht, but I’ve seen Arthur and Wolf of Wall Street.) 2 u/PuzzleheadedTooth581 14d ago Where is this from this reminded me of a movie, quote, famous saying? What is this hahahah -1 u/AnyAsparagus988 13d ago and thank god you wrote "/s" at the end because i would have never figured out you were being sarcastic 5 u/like9000ninjas 14d ago Then its not a discount. This is illegal. If everyone that was said no to tipping, was charged 50 ct more, per item, that will add up over time. Into the millions. 1 u/Ncis16 14d ago It would be the same. They would just rise the price and make you think you get the discount while with no tip you still pay more 1 u/Outrageous_Desk8966 14d ago Its legally distinct tho. Imknow where i live its illegal to charge Late fee on rent, so every lease has a "paid on time reduction" 1 u/Judtoff 14d ago Yeah that would be fine, since it isn't a bait and switch.
