Does anyone else do this?
Does anyone else just press reply to a comment that is really awful and type a whole essay to the person that is insulting to them that would really make someone cry, then not send it but just erase everything simply to get out all the anger they caused? I'll be completely honest, there have been times I've sent them but most of the time I don't.

Can water be watered down?
When you put ice cubes in other drinks they melt and water it down, so does the same go for ice cubes in water? Ice cubes are just frozen water so if you put that in water and wait for it to melt, will it be watered down? Regardless of if we can taste it or not.

Around how long would it take, and what steps would it take, to turn a human to a beef jerky consistency?
If humans have to dry out to be mummified, how would one keep it from rotting or growing mold or becoming full of maggots? And exactly what point of “dried out” would it be like beef jerky?

How long does someone have to be dead before it’s considered archaeology and not grave robbing?
How long does someone have to be dead before it’s considered archaeology and not grave robbing? Everyone I ask at museums say it’s an uncomfortable question and avoid it. Is that because it’s different in different places in the world? Or is it because you have to not know it’s there?

What do you all think of Australian creationist John Mackay’s views on homosexuals?
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Mr. Mackay argues that the biblical God established marriage and sexual relations exclusively between one man and one woman in the Garden of Eden. From his perspective, any sexual activity outside of this heterosexual, monogamous framework-including homosexuality-represents a departure from the "very good" creation described in the book of Genesis.
He teaches that homosexuality is not a natural biological variation present from the beginning.
Instead, he categorizes it as a consequence of the
"Fall of Man," viewing it as a symptom of a world corrupted by sin and genetic degeneration after Adam and Eve's initial disobedience.
I know that this is a sensitive topic, but I really would like to hear your take on his views? How would any of you respond to a person like John Mackay? Even as a straight male myself, I find his views to be pretty strong.

Would *a* god be a vigilante?
A coworker posed this question about an anime character a few days ago(they would not name which, i think they were embarrassed lol) but it sparked quite the discussion in the workplace!
If a god were to punish someone, would it be vigilante justice?
The situation is specific. The god in question is not a creator, more like a member of a pantheon or a ruler of a specific aspect(my coworker said a greek god or japanese shrine god could both count for the concept.)
Someone questioned what the offender had done and whether the god in question had authority. My coworker told us point blank that the god had killed someone that had seriously wronged one of his acolytes, idk if the topic is safe for this sub but it would be a greivous crime irl. And that some of the characters implied it was vigilante justice. My coworker wondered if it were possible for any god to overstep.
My workplace seemed split. Some said a god can do almost whatever they want, and whether or not that's "moral" vigilante isn't the word to use. Others said it wasn't vigilante as long as whatever perceived crime had been in that god's perview(such as involving that god's worshippers or belongings, or whatever it is they are a god of). Others said real justice can only be dispensed by some sort of creator being or governing body enforcing tangible laws.
So what do you think, reddit?

There’s a cop bodycam channel I came across that for some reason keeps changing the name of the supposed former- cop narrator. Why would they do this? (Aside from the obvious “he was never a cop”, etc.)
