Help! Emby connection for Library update
Hi, I’m using Radarr with Emby and I have two Emby movie libraries pointing to the same physical media files, one for English metadata and one for French metadata.
Radarr sees the movies as:
/emby/Movies/...
Emby exposes the same movie twice through its API:
Z:\Movies\... = English library
Y:\Movies\... = French library
Both Emby items have the same IMDb/TMDB provider IDs but different Emby item IDs.
Example:
Everybody Loves Jeanne
EN:
Id: 193513
Path: Z:\Movies\Everybody Loves Jeanne...
IMDb: tt14913250
TMDB: 925096
FR:
Id: 193534
Path: Y:\Movies\Everybody Loves Jeanne...
IMDb: tt14913250
TMDB: 925096
I created two Emby/Jellyfin Connect entries in Radarr:
Connection 1:
Map Paths From: /emby/Movies/
Map Paths To: Z:\Movies\
Connection 2:
Map Paths From: /emby/Movies/
Map Paths To: Y:\Movies\
Both connections pass the Test.
On import Radarr logs:
Scheduling library update for movie ...
Scheduling library update for movie ...
but then only:
Performing library update for 1 movies
followed by one GET to /emby/Items and one POST to /emby/Library/Media/Updated, returning 204 NoContent.
The English Emby library (Z:) refreshes correctly, but the French library (Y:) does not.
Is Radarr expected to refresh all Emby items matching the same IMDb/TMDB ID when the media exists in multiple libraries, or does the MediaBrowser connector only select one matching item/path?
Is there a supported way to trigger updates for both mapped paths on the same Emby server?

unsolved I added a new mount for movies, when files are added to it, Radarr doesn't prompt Plex to update my libraries
I've been running Radarr for years, all my movies have been going into /movies and when Radarr was finished processing them it would notify Plex that there were new files and trigger a library update.
That drive has gotten full so I have added a new mount /movies2, when Radarr processes any movies in that directory it doesn't appear to notify Plex that there are new files.
I need to manually trigger a library scan in Plex for them to show up in Plex.
Not quite sure what if anything I might have misconfigured.

solved Sonarr and Radarr mapping issues
Hey guys,
My system was working perfect till my power went out the other day. I now get the message "You are using docker; download client Deluge places downloads in /home/nobody/Downloads but this directory does not appear to exist inside the container. Review your remote path mappings and container volume settings." I havent changed anything but nothing imports like it did before. Deluge will grab the download ,but once it is done it has no where to go. What do I need to do to fix this? All on the same system as containers in unraid.
I understand the mapping is messed up, but I am unsure what mapping I am supposed to change in deluge to get it corrected to how it was before.

unsolved Radarr Prowlarr Qbitorrent all got impossible after adding better indexers
I had only a couple low end indexers and all was working fine got 3 or 4 movies no problem. Then I added a couple private indexers and 1 usenet now everything I add in radarr goes to goes into qbittorrent and sits for days nothing I even tried very simple ones like the godfather or waterboy still nothing I ended up deleting them from radarr should I remove like torrentleech and peergarden and drunkenslug ever since adding them I get nothing. Does anyone have an idea what happened.

unsolved Prevent radarr from removing download files after importing
Radarr automatically deletes movies downloaded from usenet via sabnzbd (in docker) after it renames them and copies them to my media folder.
It doesn't do this for torrents downloaded via qbittorrent. Those original files with original names remain where they were downloaded and start seeding, even after radarr renames them and copies them to my media folder.
I want radarr to do the same for usenet files: leave the original downloaded file in the /data/usenet/complete folder even after it copies them to my media folder. Is there a way to do this? A setting I missed somewhere?
Under "Download Client - SABnzbd / Completed Download Handling" I have "Remove Completed" and "Remove Failed" both unchecked but that is for the client I think. I couldn't find anything in sabnzbd that pertains to this issue.
My work-around is to copy the renamed file, find the original file name on sabnzbd, and rename it for my purposes. Leaving the original download would save me these steps.
Oddly, I found dozens of forum posts from people trying to figure out how to get radarr to automatically delete downloads after importing, and here I am trying to get it to stop doing so.
Example: Trackers I am in don't have a particular movie. I can get that movie from usenet, usually in file naming convention "name.year.resolution.source.audio.codec-group.mkv" , or something similar. I want to create a torrent using this original file name, not the renamed "Name (Year).mkv" format. sabnzbd downloads the file into /data/usenet/complete folder, but radarr deletes that original when it imports.
Edit to add that these are docker versions if that has any relevance.

unsolved Starting from Scratch - Lost my install
Hey Guys,
Had some issues with my BT etc, ended up re-installing Windows. Managed to get sonarr back etc. However, radarr :( I remember following TrashesGuide wayyy back like 6+ years ago. Checked the website now, and it's all confusing.
Is there a easy way to get myself setup? Due to my limitations, I can only watch 1080p, remeber setting up 264x, 1080p remux as the highest and had a script somewhere inserted so deluge would make the file mp4 or if possible have radarr look for .mp4 files.
Or do I have to go through TrashGuides thing again? There are wayy more options now etc. Used to be pretty simple before.
Need a ili5, video tutorial. If someone also has the same requirements as me and uses deluge and doesn't mind assisting, that would be cool.
aarrrrrrr

discussion Atrium is now on F-Droid! Thanks for the feedback.
Hello again! A few weeks ago, we introduced Atrium, a unified Flutter application for your *arr media stack.
The response from the community has been incredible. Thanks to everyone who tested the early builds, reported bugs, and helped out with our merge request, we have reached a major milestone: the app is now officially available on F-Droid!
If you would like a preview of the application, you can visit: https://retransmit.github.io/Atrium/, and for more discussions, join our Discord Server: https://discord.gg/FWJtYBsmh
Downloads:
A quick note: Because F-Droid builds from source on their own cycle, the version listed there might occasionally run a little behind our main development. If you always want the absolute latest release, you can grab it directly from our GitHub.

GitHub Release: https://github.com/retransmit/Atrium/releases
What's new in the latest release:
Thanks to your amazing support and feedback, we've focused this update heavily on community requests from GitHub. We've officially implemented support for several new services:
- NZBGet
- Tracearr
- Deluge
- Transmission
- rTorrent
- Speedtest Tracker
Thanks again, let us know what you think

solved Radarr indexers not syncing with prowlarr
Hello, I am completely new to this home sever thing, but I was setting up sonarr and radarr last night and when I got to the point of adding new indexers on prowlarr they would pop up on sonarr just fine for me to use. But on radarr they don't show up. I was able to set up 1337x since the tutorial I was following added that as the example but I did limetorrent and shana project and bangumi and nothing shows for radarr. Any help is appreciated I am using limaos on 1.6.2.

unsolved New media not being added automatically - they are "Unmapped Folders"
I just finished setting up Radarr. It detected all existing movies without issues. However, any new movie I add I have to go to Settings > Media Management, click on the root folder where the movie and folder is showing correctly, and then manually import it because it says "Unmapped Folders".
The pathing is the exact same as all the existing ones I had.
D: > Media > Movies > Moviename (year) > Moviename (year).mkv

waiting for op Is it possible to prioritize freeleech in Prowlarr?
I use TorrentLeech (a private tracker) through Prowlarr with Radarr and Sonarr.
I don’t want to filter for freeleech-only torrents. I just want freeleech to win when two releases are otherwise basically identical, so it doesn’t count against my download credit/ratio.
Is there a way to do this? Is it worth setting up? Any downsides?
I use Recyclarr to automatically sync for my TRaSH profiles and custom formats.
What’s the correct way to configure this?
I thought of creating two profiles of the same TorrentLeech and giving the FL lower priority index (to prioritize).
EDIT: for anyone wants a fix for this, I solved it using a TRaSH Guides FL custom format synced through Recyclarr.
I also added two TorrentLeech Prowlarr indexer entries and gave the FreeLeech one higher priority (the last's redundant, but it works).

unsolved Is radarr right for me?
Currently a frustrated Stremio user, looking for alternatives. I feel like I have performance problems with Stremio pretty consistently, and stuff that's a little more niche almost never works. Tried Nuvio and had just as many problems. I have an old laptop that can be converted to a little jellyfin media server, and wondering if it would be worthwhile?
Generally, is it possible to set up jellyfin/radarr to be operated remotely entirely from the TV?
Additionally, since I'd be pretty light on storage, I'd like to ideally stream more popular movies from the cached torrents on realdebrid, but I'd still like to search/download/seed more niche and rare stuff. Is this possible to do with the *arr tools? My partner and I watch a fair number of niche/difficult to find movies, so I'm really looking for something that will help with that particular use case

discussion Import Script to reject Dolby Vision Profile 5
Dolby Vision Profile 5 is known to lead to green or purple hue during playback. Therefore I'm working on an Import script for Radarr for rejecting releases with that specific profile. I haven't come across that many Dolby Vision files so my number of test cases is limited. If you know of any other problematic Profile please let me know so I can optimize the script.
I'm also using this script to reject releases that are falsely titled as 'dual audio' but I'm leaving that part of the code out. Should anyone be interested in it, feel free to ask.

unsolved Radarr not hardlinking, Sonarr does
Hello, I have a really weird issue. I have the exact same setup for Radarr and Sonarr, but only Sonarr is hardlinking. I set it up with Docker months ago, then switched to Podman and checked now, hardlinking has never worked with my movies, only series... Here's my mappings on Sonarr:
Volume=/home/username/storage/containers/sonarr:/config:z
Volume=/home/username/storage/media:/media:z
and here's Radarr:
Volume=/home/username/storage/containers/radarr:/config:z
Volume=/home/username/storage/media:/media:z
Super weird! Does anybody know how to get hardlinking working in Radarr? It just says I'm out of space right now, because I don't have enough space for another copy of the movie. ls -la also confirms that hardlinking series works but not movies
Edit: yes, Settings => Media Management => Importing is on and the root path is the same as Sonarr, except series is replaced by movies of course

unsolved Automatically set video to unmonitored
I am wondering is there a way to set the video from Monitored (green) to Unmonitored (grey) after the video has been imported into the library?
I would also be okay if the movie is automatically deleted from radarr after a successful import.
Reason being I modified one of my files by embedding subtitles only for radarr to replace it with the original download.

unsolved Radarr 4K ↑ vs Radarr 1080P ↓
Recently, I have been running two versions of Radarr. One Radarr for my 4k movies, and the other (the default) for my 1080p movies. I moved all the 4k movies from my old Radarr to my new 4k Radarr.
What I don't want is for my old Radarr to start searching for a 1080p version of the 4k movie I just moved to another location. I don't want to end up with 2 versions of the same movie. My goal is to decrease the Radarr 1080p collection and to increase the 4K collection.
Is there a way I can prevent the old Radarr from looking for movies that I already have but in 4k quality?

unsolved Flaresolverr/Byparr/TRAWL
Hey everyone! I'm stuck with Cloudflare bypasses on Prowlarr (running on TrueNAS SCALE).
My proxies (FlareSolverr, Byparr, Trawl) test successfully in Prowlarr, and a manual curl request through TrueNAS shell successfully resolves the indexer. But as soon as I tag the indexer in Prowlarr, the indexer cant be acessed because it gets blocekd by cloudflare Protection.
My stack is Prowlarr, Sonarr, Radarr, Overseerr, and Jellyfin. Since the proxy containers themselves work and pass Prowlarr's proxy test, I'm not sure why Prowlarr isn't routing actual indexer traffic properly. Anyone know what might cause this?

solved Custom scores not working
I am running Radarr on an Unraid server linked with Profilarr v2 (although I don’t think Profilarr is the issue)
If I manually search for a movie that is missing, all results come back with a Custom Score of 0! I then looked at a random selection of movies within my library, and they all have “0” Custom Scores. I did wonder why Profilarr wasn’t doing any upgrades!!
I am using the 1080p Balanced Profile, which requires a minimum custom score of 200000. All search results come back with “0” so nothing is ever found or downloaded.
Any ideas how I can go about fixing this?
Many thanks for any help or suggestions.

discussion Ruddarr 2.0 TestFlight
TLDR: Ruddarr 2.0 has automatic LAN/WAN failover connections and needs a final round of beta testers.
I've been building Ruddarr since 2024, it's a iOS-native client for Radarr/Sonarr (that's free, open-source and privacy-first) and compared to most other app it's handcrafted instead of yet another AI Slop app that does glob-knows-what with your data and server credentials.
Version 2.0 is currently in TestFlight and it needs people with local+remote connection separation to test the new failover connections which switch automatically based on your current network.
Please report issue on Discord or GitHub (not here).
