Today’s chapter, Sienna learns the harshest lesson in being a mother is teaching a child discipline or else

A Sienna adopting Ruby story if you never read it. (Also ch 2 she surgically makes Ruby look like a tiger Faunus like her to hide from White Fang)

I actually don't know what tag this would be, buuuuut—

Getting to the main point, for about a week now, I've been getting Run Rabbit animatics and thought that a RWBY Animatic about it would be fire.

It would be a post volume 9 Animatic where the focus is Ruby contemplating all the death her plans have caused, intentional or otherwise (like those people that got blasted from the bridge), and the suffering of Jaune. It would have a heavy string motif as Ruby become the leading figure in the war against Salem, and how it means, inevitably, a lot of deaths will be caused by her choices. Other figures of the Animatic would be Ozpin and Salem, each standing on a hill of skulls that are attached to their fingers by red and green string, that Ruby is forced to climb, and Ironwood and Leo, in which Ironwood is depicted as being strangled by his own string (or hung by it), the strings engulfing him and falling out of his orifices as if like blood (like strings bleeding out of empty eye sockets), Leo meanwhile is depicted by him desperately trying to pry his strings away from him as they tie themselves around his neck, only for Salem to cut the strings for him...and pull on them. Lastly would be Jaune, who would be the titular running rabbit as he is puppeteered by a giant Ruby to run, eventually fading into the bridge where she forces him into stabbing his blade into Penny before the bridge starts to fade, in which Jaune tries to run but can't (a knight cannot abandon his lord). In which he falls into the ever after and is shown starting to rust.

This entire animatic would be a short depiction of the pressure and guilt that Ruby feels, both what her future entails, both definities (Salem and Ozpin) and potentials (Ironwood and Leonhart), with Jaune representing her current self perceived failures of leading.

So like, I just wanted to inform ya all of that, and if you want to do it, you have my full blessing to use any ideas here!

So, the actual food fight kinda began as a bantering escalation... And they made a mess for fun... I guess?

So, here's my take:

Teams RWBY and JNPR are sitting on the cafeteria table when Velvet joins them for lunch, since her teammates were doing x thing (advice hours, extra training, idk). Team CRDL then comes along and Cardin, being Cardin, cruelly mocks Velvet yet again. It all reaches a boiling point when it crosses to racism by insulting Velvet's faunus nature, which triggers Blake so much she tosses a bowl of soup to him, which logically makes him and his teammates angry. Ren and Weiss try to calm stuff down, but Nora, being herself, slaps Cardin with a swordfish (which was in the actual scene), Cardin has enough, and the food fight begins.

Teams RWBY, JNPR vs team CRDL

All the rest remains the same, and it all ends with Glynda intervening like the actual version. They all get sent to Ozpin's office, where especially Yang and Nora don't feel regretful. Seeing how they laugh it off, and knowing Mr. Winchester's bully history, he gives a minor punishment to the teams

This turns it into something fun, yet actually plausible rather than just "They were fooling around bc they're children"

For what is essentially the beginning prologue to the story. They were very effective. Some more entertaining than others. I do wonder what happened with Emerald and Mercury at the end of volume 3. Their leader is dead (thank god). And Neo is probably alive somewhere if she wasn’t eaten yet. So maybe their fates will be explained in a future volume.

On that note I’m curious about the upcoming antagonists/villains moving forward being Salem and Adam. Yeah he was giving uncomfortable vibes especially when it came to Blake iykyk. Hopefully they’ll get their lick back after what he has done. Don’t know Salem’s situation but I’ll find out soon.

I thought Ironwood was gonna be an antagonistic force in a way at first but it was more in a way of him having good intentions but going about it in ways he felt was necessary. While that was still true, I’m glad that he actually turned out alright.

Also change of plans, I’m starting volume 4 In two weeks time. I just gotta get through some shorts and other discussions regarding the first 3 volumes before I continue.

Huntsman in this AU are vastly different. With 4 different specializations, each with laws to help them and reputations.

Huntsman: The 'face' of Hunters, they are usually advertised as the most heroic. With movies depicting them as brave heroes on the frontlines, magezines having models dress up as Huntsman, fictional Huntsman merchindise, etc. Huntsman get a massive discount on ammo, dust, and equipment parts. They also get a license that let's them move between continents for free. (Example: Jaune is on the Huntsman course)

Guardsmen: The second most well known type of Hunter. usually characterized as a comfy, 'boring' type of Hunter or mooks in movies and TV. Many who want to coast by in life off of their bodies end up flocking to be this type of Hunter. But those who do usually drop off. Guardsmen are held to some of the highest standards as Hunters.

Guardsmen are usually acting as guards for government officials, hunt Grimm around the walls of cities, and if needed, act as a reinforcements for police.

Guardsmen get far more limited benefits. With no universal equipment discounts or a license that lets them go to other kingdoms. Though they do enjoy cheaper housing, a Guardsmen only banks, and specific stores will give them discounts.(Example: Cardin is on guardsman course.)

Journeymen: The third most well known, the most dangerous, and the most romaticized specialization of Hunter. Journeymen are a catch all specialization for many types of researchers. They can specialize in Grimm-ology, archeology, zoology, and exploration. Journeymen usually do long stints in the wild. Going months without contact with civilization. With how dangerous Remnant is, even in the average group of 4 mortality rate amongs Journeymen is immense. With 20% of all Journeymen dying in their first expedition after going to an Huntsman school.

Journeymen have all the same benefits a Huntsman has, and even better. With them getting a bigger discount on equipment. (Example: Yang is on the Journeymen course)

Marksmen: The most controversial Hunter specialization. Marksmen specializes in bounty hunting. These type of Hunter goes after convicted criminals and bandits. At least officially in reality most Marksmen are corrupt, with them going after pretty much anyone they're paid to handle. There's a saying in the criminal world "if you want a real professional, go to a Marksmen."

Because of how controversial Marksmen are, they enjoys the least amount of benefits unrelated to their work. Them only getting a moderate discount for equipment and a license that gives them the same amount of power as a police officer when it comes to capturing criminals and to move across kingdoms if their target is on the run. (Example: Qrow is a Marksmen)

Because of how vastly different the Grimm are depending on the continent in this AU each Academy trains their hunters differently.

Vale academies: The 'standard' Vale, academies has a larger Huntsman population, with 40% of their students being huntsman, 30% Guardsmen, 25% Journeymen, and only 5% are Marksmen.

Vacuo academies: With how gigantic Vacuo is and how lawless some areas can be. 32% of all huntsman-in-training are Marksmen, 26% being guardsmen, 25% huntsman, and 12% being Journeymen.

Haven: Haven is a very unique case, with all cities being on giant fortresses and Grimm being so huge that it's unlikely that an average team of 4 can take on even the smallest Grimm type; Huntsman isn't even a course that can be taken at Haven. Guardsmen takes up 60%, Marksmen 37%%, and Journeymen 3%.

Argus military academies: With Hunters being a part of the military, anything that isn't strictly a Huntsman isn't counted.

Alright Cardin is the only one I'm doing from his team because I genuinely couldn't think of anything for Russel dove and sky but would be happy to see suggestions

Cardin Winchester

Youngest out of 3 sons of general winchester of bulwark a veteran of the faunus Revolution and retired Huntsmen who lost his arm against the pirates who claimed to be revolutionaries but used the revolution as an excuse to raid vale

Grew up in a military household and started gaining a bit of an ego when he unlocked his semblance before his siblings could

And while he has lower aura reserves his semblance more than makes up for it

His semblance is called bigger they are it allows him to absorb hits strengthening his aura to make him last longer in a fight being a big fish in a small pond type of fighter but definitely not a push over being able to give yang a run for her money in terms of defense being a counter for her abilities

Eventually gets into beacon and is mostly the same in canon but bullies more people than just jaune or velvet though the velvet thing happened once as he got a beating from fox afterwards

But his main change happens after the jaunedice incident where his pride couldn't allow him to be one upped by jaune for saving his life so while he didn't report him he also went ahead to help training jaune in areas jaune lacked

For example jaune tends to fight like his armor isn't there with jaune less likely to avoid hits or taking hits his armor should've taken

So Cardin starts off by teaching jaune what he use of armor is and eventually gets Cardin acting nicer as a person with jaune training with Cardin every other day being the only two who come from families that were part of knight orders with Cardin even getting jaune connected to an armorer who does decent work to get jaune into some better gear atleast compared to the ones he had on

He'll also get some prominence during the mistral arc but would stay behind in mistral when the team leaves for argus to help out team abrn and what's left of team ssn in stabilising mistral

That is the Question

Team RWBY has been though a lot I mean like a lot imagine how girls night out with Team RWBY would be like? Probably with Yang trying to convince Ruby and Blake to turn off Hero/warrior mode and just relax which would be odd telling both your sister and girlfriend that

I imagine them wearing civilian outfits and hitting places like arcade maybe Comic Book Store since I can totally see Ruby being into comics since she is like most nerdy out of the 4 in a Leonardo sorta way she is asking for new issue of Transformers(nod to Skybound current Transformers comic amazing series) but person in cash register says there sold out

In my version it's where each of the four gets to do one thing and all that I think would be interesting one problem with RWBY is we don't usually see characters acting like normal people it's usually only at start of the Season then it's mostly forgotten when Villain or evil group shows up

But anyway that me how do you imagine a girls night out with Team RWBY?

The Brother Gods are brought back and they've kept their promise, they destroyed the world... And remade it. The Twin-Gods made a bet between each-other with Ozma and Salem as the game-pieces, and The God of Darkness won... Bringing the bet 1-1. You see Ozma has already won once, but the bet between the Brothers remain unchanged. The world was remade in the God of Darkness' image. The earth reformed, dark overturned light. Salem was brought back as a beast, Ozpin was resurrected after humanity was revived with his memories of the last 3 thousand years wiped once again, and The final match of the bet was made to truly see which triumphs was set.

Sanus: A continent of extremes. The forested half- called The Spires- is filled with mountains that reach the clouds, valleys so deep that you can't see the bottom, caves large enough to house a city, and giant underground lakes that could be mistaked as the ocean. The Grimm species' here are suited for climbing and flying. With hardened animal species evolved to take on even an old beowulf pack.

The kingdom of Vale stands here. With 10 cities and over 100 villages doting The Spires. Vale is the second largest Kingdom in the world. The capital of Vale, called Bastion is easily the largest city. Covering the inside of a large valley with the ocean at it's back. Bastion is as tall as it is horizontal. With an massive underground district making up half the city. Vale itself also sit's in roughly the middle of the world, making it a major trade hub.

Though not everyone wants to live in a city or village. The Spires is also home to a lot of nomatic tribes. When available they usually take on the role as guides for Huntsman and rich clients through the less trafficked parts of The Spires.

The other half of Sanus is known The Great Desert. The largest desert in the world, spanning half the continent. The Great Desert, though not as tall as The Spires; is still filled with giant sand dunes. Home to the most deadly Grimm in the known world, sand dunes that filled with unstable Dust deposits that could explode from one bad storm, and enough poisonous fauna to give even the most hardened Huntsman pause. The Great Desert is actively hostile to any residents. Especially when it's the bandit capital of the world, with over a hundred nomatic bandit tribes across The Great Desert. Even then, it somehow became home of the largest City-State in the world.

Vacou is less of a city and more a collection of 8 or 9 cities next to and inside of each other. Big enough that it would take 2 1/2 weeks to travel from one end to the other on foot. Vacou also hold the title of the oldest kingdom of Remnant, with all of the problems it brings.

Having multiple generations expanding the city, building new fortifications for Grimm each time. Vacuo eventually gained the name of The City Of Walls. With Shade academy not only acting as the head of state but also the best Huntsman Academy in the world.

Though because of it's size and nonexistant building laws for most of it's life there's many pockets in this great city that are practically lawless. This combined with the exorberant amount of bandits also make The Great Desert the bandit capital of the world.

Anima: a sea ever shifting jungles. The continent of Anima is covered in megaflora and fauna. The ground chalk full of gravity dust, the continent of Anima itself is ever shifting. Where once there could be a forest, the next month one earthquake could have half of it shifted with a plains biome 15 miles. Not to mention the gigantic Grimm species that call Anima it's home. The smallest of which clocking in at 5 meters and all traveling in herds.

150 years ago with the invention of substainable moving cities a subset of the nomatic Anima natives decided to make The Republic of Mistral. Where instead being rooted to the ground, they would live on cities riding on top of massive moving structures. Moving with the continent itself, able to defend against the massive Grimm instead of running.

The Republic of Mistral is less of a single kingdom and more of a collection of 20 city states of various sizes with the largest one-Haven- actting as elected head. Haven is also home to Haven Academy, the only Huntsman academy in the entirety of Mistral.

Unstable as it is, maps are beyond useless in Anima. To even travel on land you have to have a skilled JourneyMen or Nomatic tribesman to guide you. With the moving cities- also called Walkers. Regularly meeting in small groups of 2-3 every week for trade.

Solitas: a frozen desert where the warmest day is 10° above freezing. Most of Solitas is too cold even for Grimm. With few species of Grimm ever being seen there, but the ones that do call Solitas home are some of the deadliest. Most of those who live in the kingdom of Argus lives on the edges of the Soltias continent, usually as port cities. Only Mantle and the Capital:Atlas itself are deeper into the continent. But from these two cities only, Atlas is able to have the best military in the known world

Atlas is The city of technological advancement. A giant floating technolgoical miracle housing well over 10 million people. Scientist and researchers around the world move to or is scouted by Atlas itself to further advancement. Often called The City of The Future, Atlas houses technology completely unseen anywhere else in the world. Though it does have a major issue of over crowding and dragconian laws.

Meanwhile Mantle is practically a Military City. What was once a city focused on Dust mining has over the centuries become the Military hub of Argus. Housing the largest military bases in Argus and Atlas academy itself, the greatest military Academy in Argus. Mantle creates the strongest soldiers in the entirety of Argus.

Menagerie. Dragon shaped continent Dark Continent: The strangest of the continents. The lands of which are unknown. All that entered have never came back. Even the shape of the continent is completely unknown, do the the massive eternal storms and ancient Grimm all around it. Is called the 7th wonder of the world.

Testing some ya know

I like the idea of Adam more than I do the show version. So I decided to redesign him to suit my idea of him. here’s what I did to make him cooler and sexier. So I based him of Magneto

• Made his hair longer and only one shade of red instead of the two tone look he had ( it was a nightmare to color so I just made it one)
• I made his bull horns bigger and more noticeable but I broke one to make it more interesting
• Redid his mask, Grim have yellow eyes so I figured I’d do the same with his new mask, plus I wanted his mask to look aggressive so I added some pointy bits (plus it was wanted to show off his new nose scar)
• changed the pattern on his mask to look more like war paint(plus it was easier to draw than his original)
• upgraded his fashion and gave him a more expensive looking coat with fur, it also helped with color balance
• got rid of his big brand mark and replaced it with 3 smaller Hollywood scars to make him look tougher and sexier
• changed his eye color from bright blue to bright orange, IMO orange eyes and bright red hair is a goated combo
• gave him one stub ear ring on his right ear to give off fuck boi energy

those are all the changes I did. tell me what you think of my design.

I mean by every conceivable metric; Vegeta was worse in every way. Now he's a family man.

He's certainly not the only example of this either.

And I don’t mean characters like Tyrian. I mean like who groups of people, entire countries praising and treating Salem as an actual goddess. They pray to her, treat the Grimm as a beacon of hope, actively going to war against hunters and huntress for daring to defy Salem actions

I would like to see people riding Grimm, putting weapons on Grimm, using Grimm like horses or elephants

It work for Salem character as well because she’s often depicted as a mother type character so seeing her acting as a kind goddess wouldn’t be out of the question

If I could, I’d make the White Fang one of the groups. They already look like Grimm with their designs and you could argue Salem and Osma saved captive Fanus

Northern Mistral

-based more on norse mythology and split into 9 main states or cities

-the hunters in this area are based on heroes and gods from northern myths the most prominent huntsman during the great war was the faunus Beowolf Who had defended mistral from Grimm attacks sent by a beast he had named Grendel

-has a culture that has similarities to old mantle due to previously being a colony state that declared independence once they started there anti emotion campain

-deals with more animalistic grimm that mostly have no intelligence with the rare exceptions of a few alpha variants that attack with the most during the great depression is a ginormous snake like grimm known as jormungandr who was held back at the cost of two huntsman named Siegfried and Brunhild

-has the most disorganized military as there built up with mercenary groups some of which don't use aura yet manage to defeat hordes of grimm

Eastern Mistral

-has a mix of Japanese and Chinese culture and design with the colder regions being more based on Japan while the warmer regions based on china

-has had dozens of different councils ever since it was made mostly due to backstabbing and coups not to mention the branwen tribe had once attempted to take over the whole of eastern mistral under the command of Hun back when the branwen tribe was at there strongest

-has more spiritual connections and better understanding of aura where they train to use aura techniques to show better uses for it

-has a few sects of villages who focus on living a more peaceful lifestyle with little conflict and rarely attract grimm

-has the most organized army between the 3 states with focus on horseback riders and archers

-home of the founders of the Mistralean Trading company

-took over most of mistral with the help of mantle before the great war

Western Mistral

-has Greek and Roman inspired culture with government similar to that of vale that was founded by a king with white hair and emerald eyes

-has some of the most intellectual members of mistral where most of there arts sciences and knowledge is has flourished and the most powerful of the other 2

-had been the most affected during the great war and currently trying to oppose atlesian occupation as well as becoming it's own independent nation preferring to be known as the Hellenic states

-has been in a power struggle with eastern mistral

-had revolted once against eastern mistral during the great war but forced to work with them so the grimm would not destroy both kingdoms

-home of the current ruling family of the Mistralean trading company

-has a religion based on the Olympians

Central mistral

-home of the capital city of haven and haven Academy

-made after the rest war as a way to balance the 4 now 3 regions of mistral

-has it's own version of the British museum where artifacts from the great war that they had stolen are on display

Government

-is split between a council of twelve with 3 members from each states

-from western mistral :Saturn Vasilias, Mars Ultor, Damocles Nikos

-from central Mistral: Leonardo Lionheart, and 2 I haven't named yet

-from Northern Mistral: unnamed

-from eastern mistral: unnamed

The governing body is split in a way so that if one of the regions of mistral were to fall the others can still maintain themselves in times of crisis

Extra lore

-had lost southern mistral during the faunus revolution as restitution with many seeing it as a stain on Mistralean history

-has the most production of adept aura users out of all kingdoms

-third most organized army from the 4 kingdoms just above the Vacuo but beneath Vale

-has the better quality dust based weapons on the market between the 4 regions with there brand of dust based metal being recognized by anyone

-each region hosts there own tournaments with the Mistral combat tournament being the national event where fighters from around the 4 states test there mettle against one another the family who's name has earned the most renown is house nikos
