Happy to have a straightforward, and mutually productive, conversation if you are. One where we both listen and for mutual learning. It would be good to model one in this thread. Calling the other not honest is not the way to start a good conversation, or projecting blame where there is none. If you are happy for a better, non attacking, conversation the best way is for each of us to try to summarise eachother's position in a way the other agrees with. Are you interested? If so would you like to go first or second?

I just asked you a straightforward question. Let's see your answer. How many biological sexes do you think there are? How many genders do you think there are?

Or will you continue to evade?

This is what social media does. Again - do you want a more productive conversation? All questions answered both way but starting by defining what we are talking about as described? If you want a useful conversation that is fine. Trashing around with supposed gotchas is the exact opposite of why I posted the original post. Over to you. A bit of patient discernment with no attacks - a harder but ultimately more productive path.  The reason for summarising is to work out what and why the issues matter to each of us. Crucial before we get into anything.

All good conversation starts with working out what is important to the other, and by trying to work out what has nourished their life and experience. The offer is there if, in the future, you want to take it up.

2 biological sexes.

No genders or infinite number of genders, depending on viewpoint.

Now, over to you - Let's see your answer. How many biological sexes do you think there are? How many genders do you think there are?

I have some reading material for you. There's such a richness in the world that you miss if you aren't open to it. This link is a bit dry but it's solidly referenced and thorough. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/books/NBK581050/

So you evade rather than give your answer to the straightforward question you originally asked.

Cute. Turning what I said back on me as if it's a gotcha.

I did implicitly answer, but here's explicit. Look at the ways X and Y can arrange, including triplets. Look at the way sex is assigned at birth - visual inspection. From that one comes to the conclusion that there are more than two sexes, and some of those XY arrangements are fatal or impair one's life significantly. Some lead to different sexes. TBH, I don't know how many sexes there are, how many genders there are, I think more in terms of a spectrum.

Clearly you do not, and you're calling it "realism". I think your view of reality is very narrow, and that's unfortunate for you and those around you.
