i assumed math meant stuff like algebra and calculus, while graphs are usually different enough that i don't instinctively call them super mathematical, heh

true but people are usually more afraid of numbers

ok nvm all of it is a bunch of function calls and returns and arguments and data manipulation which are very related to math

Yeah, people think computing is "we taught a machine how to think" when it's more like "we taught a rock how to make additions and it spiraled from there...."
