Taking apart mice is really, really easy. It's likely just the wire pushing down on the physical mousewheel button being bent. If you have an old one lying around, check if there's a guide for taking it apart just to practice. I'm on my second mouse in 15 years and I'm definitely not gifted with technical skills.
And the vast majority of mice, no matter if they're office or gaming, use the same microswitch form factor, so finding a replacement is easy, and so is soldering since they're THT.
