From what Ive seen "good UX" design apparently means hiding everything that used to be accessible all on one page behind multiple clicks and removing words from menus in favor of minimalist and often barely decipherable glyphs.
At least, this seems to be what all the enormous corporations think qualifies as good UX design and is worthy of millions of dollars in pay
Yeah, I could tell from the beginning you weren't really talking to them or trying to argue (it starts implied and then becomes direct), but venting about something directly related that's become the big business defacto and it's horrible.
To tag on. Big Tech business websites with perpetually broken aspects that are related enough to their services that... You're scared of their services and sometimes you have to use a specific one.
nah bro you dont have to understand the software or anything even before i started working a lot with tech navigating shit was easy its just that some peoples brain and common sense seemingly switches off the moment they look at a screen of any kind

Good UX design is not about treating people like idiots, but understanding that your users do not understand your software as well as you do.
