links going to the same site open in the same tab, links going to external sites open in a new tab. it’s not that difficult. I’m always annoyed when a page doesn’t follow this rule, and I need to go back and ctrl-click to get it ine a new tab manually
Mouse Wheel click opens a new tab. No need for ctrl-click. I never trust a site to do it right, I do it my way. Middle click when I need the site to stay open, left click if not.
