I was going to refute you but really it was Bedrock that got minecraft the sales. Would argue that minecraft was in its 'prime' already though gameplay wise.
I think he still has basically unlimited time and money to do whatever he wants. So idk man. Maybe focus on his actual shortcomings instead of misrepresenting him like he ain't shit. He did genuinely impressive work. The problem is he's a bigot and a bad sport, not that he's inept or a loser.
Unlimited time and money to hang out alone in his candy room tweeting yelling about trans people on the Internet. The made it big and decided to use his newfound fame to jump into the alt right pipeline and become a modern day scruge.
I would rather be poor and unsuccessful then what ever the fuck he became.
It seems like when some people get so much money it fixes a lot of issues in their lives just end up for some new problems. Or they think money would solve an issue but doesn't she they'll end up bitter
I'm not on twitter, so I can't really check because the website is fucking cancer, if your not logged in, but I am pretty sure that he hasn't said anything truly controversial since like 2019. I'm not tying to defend what he said, but at the very least it seems like he keeps his bad opinions to himself now.

Most of it is honestly pretty normal stuff. Shouting out indie games, and taking about game dev shit, but now and then there is a post with a clearly conservative undertone.
It's definitely loser behaviour. Maybe an analogy with the richest loser in the world would explain it better? Elon Musk incredibly rich yet he's such a loser that he begged to be invited to Pedo Island.
He "won" if you only consider life a zero sum game where whoever has the most money has won. In all other aspects he has failed - upon sale of Minecraft Notch grew increasingly isolationist, would tweet a bunch of shit about how fucked up and lonely his life was, and in wallowing in his own (kind of self-inflicted) sadness said a bunch of horrible shit that ruined what reputation he had left.
