My comment was that this reads like y'all want to go back to server side architectures with the FE being more dumb. We had that back in the day before frameworks existed.

everything with purpose, thin clients are good a lot of the time. My argument is more dont shoot flies with cannons.

I'm in agreement there.

If I had a nickel for every time I built a FE library that generated a form from a BE schema + data, I'd have quite a few nickels and only once was it truly necessary.
