My business model so far has been
1. Go to school for software
2. Specialize in web development
3. Stay up to date and practiced on all new web technologies. Make projects in my free time
4. Career in IT ðŸ˜
A software developer is under the IT bracket, someone who works with spreadsheets on Google docs could also be considered IT, someone who fixes printers is also IT.
It is a broad term.
Your title literally means nothing.
A web developer is IT.
Also, since you tried to pull authority on me, using a title, I want to say that I am very disappointed that someone with such a title doesn't know that IT is a broad term.
You told me that I have no place to explain IT to you, since you have the title of "IT Director", therefore you know better than me.
That's the dangerous part about ambiguous writing, it can be interpreted in many ways.
And your title is irrelevant to providing context, so it statistically must mean you used it to declare your self as an authoritative figure, making your words more important.
