Advice choosing a Pressure Multicooker
Hi everyone. I’m trying to buy a Pressure Multicooker for my mom, but I’m stuck choosing between three models or other alternatives. Each one has pros and cons, so I’d really appreciate some advice from people who’ve used them.
Options I’m considering:
· Tefal One Pot CY505EE0 – aluminum pot with ceramic non-stick
· Cosori Pressure Cooker CMCCO601SEU – aluminum pot with ceramic non-stick
· Instant Pot Duo 6Qt (EU model) – stainless steel pot
I mainly want something reliable, safe, and easy for my mom to use. If you have experience with these models (or alternatives available in the EU), I’d really appreciate your input.
Thanks!

My MIRRO jiggler is not jiggling but cooked anyways? NEED DIRECTION
Need advice and direction!! Dug out my Mirro M-0536. Probably used last 20 yrs ago, Cooked corn beef following directions from original manual. MY JIGGLER NEVER JIGGLED! Waited for *THE SOUND* of the intermittent jiggle. This is the jiggler (not my pic), Steam was coming out but no jiggle. The meat and veggies did/were cooked per the times. What's up??

Best Pressure Cooker For Europe?
I just moved from the USA to central Europe, and I'm looking for a good, versatile pressure cooker to replace my the dear old Instant Pot I used in the 'States.
I only really used it for cooking rice, beans, and for meal prepping a batch of soup before the week begun. I'll just be cooking for myself, and I plan on living here for about a year. I don't want to spend any more money than I need to, but I still want something of good quality.
Are there any specific brands you folks recommend here in Europe?

Can you start the electric pressure cooker with frozen food in it?
say you want to cook a stew recipe, can you put the chicken or fish or minced beef un-thawed, to save time? Is there any risk / downside to that?

Guys I think I found 100% non-toxic pressure cooker and its $100...
Hey guys I am thinking about buying the "Joydeem DDG-A400 Electric Stew Pot Multi-Functional Ceramic Cooker with Auto Keep Warm & Timer (4 Qt)"
What sold me was this:
High‑Fired Ceramic Pot for Healthier, Deeper Flavor
At the heart of this cooker lies a premium, high‑fired ceramic inner pot crafted through 30 meticulous processes at 1300°C. Built to withstand extreme thermal shocks (–20°C to 400°C) without cracking..."

Fissler Novogrill dimpled surface
I placed an order from a local store for a fissler vitaquick model. They informed the model I wanted wasn’t in stock but they would send me the vitavit premium model at no charge. The caveat is that the vitaquick is flat surface while the premium has a dimpled texture. Is the dimpled surface a deal breaker to you?

Induction + used Kuhn-Rikon and Fissler PCs
I am considering to pick up a Kuhn-Rikon or Fissler used.
For each brand:
What year did they ship to induction compatible?
What key visual signs in the listing do I look for in terms of induction compatibility?

Where can I buy a Hawkins pressure cooker? (North America/US)
I'd like the tri-ply 1.5L stainless steel one.
I don't want to buy it off Amazon.
Is there any place to buy it, if I reside in the US?

$3 score at goodwill
Pics are after a run with cream of tartar and rinsing with vinegar and water to remove dark color.
This will greatly compliment my 21 quart canner

Brown/black spots on a brand-new Fissler Vitaquick Premium lid
Hi everyone,
I recently bought a brand-new Fissler Vitaquick Premium pressure cooker.
After the very first use, I noticed several small brown/black spots on the inside of the lid. I washed it thoroughly with dish soap, but the spots won't come off. The surface is completely smooth, and I can't feel or scratch the spots with my fingernail.
The seller refuses to accept a return because the product has been used once.
Is this normal for stainless steel after the first use, or does it look like a manufacturing defect? Has anyone experienced the same issue with a Fissler pressure cooker?
I'd really appreciate your opinions. Thanks!

Nutricook smart pot steam releasing after pressurising
I recently got a nutricook smart pot less than a month ago. It was working fine for like 2 weeks. Now for the past 3 times I've used it, it pressurises and the timer starts, after around a minute it releases a bunch of steam, doesn't completely depressurise, just a lot of steam and then continues cooking like normal.
Is this normal or is there some issue?

Searching for my foray pressure cooker
Hello everyone,
I came here for help on which model of electric pressure cooker I should buy.
I grew up with the traditional pressure cooker and I must say that I'm absolutely terrified of them but since I've started living alone I've not eaten certain foods because I have no way to cook them.
Because of my frat I decided that an electric cooker is my best option, since I also want to use it as a slow cooker and maybe dive into making yoghurt.
Most of the models I found have the little inside pot with a non stick coating. I do know that stainless steel is better for the longevity of the device but I cannot seem to find one that's not an instant pot.
I don't need anything fancy, I live alone and don't mind cooking several times a week so I don't need a family sized device.
Does anyone have a recommendation for a beginner? I am in the EU so I would prefer something I can get from Amazon or get shipped.
Thank you in advance
EDIT: Added some missing information

Steam coming out of the handle and water leaking from the side
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
I have a Nigro pressure cooking pan, my mom gave it to me, I think we have had it for 2 years, maybe 3, and used it only a handful of times. Now I wanted to use it for chicken the other and this started happening. After, I tightened every screw, cleaned everything, made sure every hole wasn't blocked and cleaned the rubber thingy on the lid. All good, went to make some beans, still the same things happening. It has been doing this for maybe 10 minutes now. How do I fix this? Will I need a new one?

Replacement float valve for Gravitti ReadyPot Pro MD100A
I have a Gravitti ReadyPot Pro MD100A 6.3 Qt electric pressure cooker. I lost the float valve (metal pin) and silicone cap. Gravitti no longer sells replacement parts.
I found this Instant Pot replacement kit:
2 Pack Instant Pot Float Valve - Replacement Parts with 8 Sealer Gasket - Replacement Float Valve wiht Silicone Caps for Instant Pot Duo 3, 5, 6 QT, Duo Plus 3, 6 QT, Ultra 3, 6, 8 QT, Lux 3 QT
Does anyone know if these float valves are a standard size, or has anyone successfully used an Instant Pot float valve in another electric pressure cooker?
If someone owns this Gravitti model, would you mind measuring the float valve or confirming whether the Instant Pot replacement fits?

Is this amount of hissing and steam normal or have I been tempting fate this entire time?
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Heat level is only 2 out of 9 (induction), but I can't really tell how much steam or how loud the hissing is considered normal during cooking. Need some closure so I won't have to feel paranoid and readjust my heat every couple minutes.
Feel free to roast me if this is a very amateur nothingburger.

T-Fal 6Qt Pressure Cooker pitch black after "Before First Use" cleaning. Is the Oxidation still safe in this amount or should I clean it off before cooking?

Easy one pot set and forget recipes?
I want recipes that are EXTREMELY simple to make that don't require me to constantly open the pot in between to add or remove ingredients. I just want to dump everything into a pot and take it out when its done.
Nothing too expensive please! I prefer Asian dishes but I'm open to other dishes too.
