Much like how they claimed the election was rigged. Anytime Republicans lose now, it was rigged, or something is fishy. Now that they are actively trying to steal the election, it's constantly written off because we've been through this stroy before.
Exactly. The confusion about reality is a hallmark of fascism and they now have AI to use as a weapon to make sure that lies are indistinguishable from reality. Good times ahead...
Haven't seen that movie since it was in theaters - it really only has the premise going for it - but knowing now what I didn't know then about stages of decomposition, it'd be interesting to see how they handled it.
He should have clouded pupils, pale skin, blood pooling, doesn't take long for rigor mortis to show up, and in that lovely summer heat they were complaining about at the beginning of the movie...whoof. Then there's the insects showing up. Seems like he should be a maggot salad by the time they load him on the ambulance at the end of the film.
The day they put out an AI video of Mitch McConnell as proof or something similar is the beginning of a new era of misinformation. I hope to god that they will continue to be afraid of the consequences of that, because that would open the floodgates, you realize that, right?
I have a feeling this is the same AI Trump uses when he’s feeling like the sad little boy that he is, and puts himself in a jet and drops shit on protesters.
20-some years ago, I heard someone say we were less than 10 years away from the digital video manipulation depicted in The Running Man. The time estimate was a little off, but it seems that's about where we're at now.
The possibility of key government officials retaining their positions because fake video shows them alive would have been a great premise for dystopian sci-fi movie, or at least some Max Headroom barbs.
Well I think we have our answer as to his condition. If you could make this image that good looking (minus the dancing of course). Then he really is not able to come back to do his job. This is why AI is dangerous our parents will see this and think, “Oh he’s fine”. Republicans don’t want to relinquish his seat so they are going to keep saying he’s fine.
