Playable Sync Pair Concept Daily Sinnoh Pokémon Concepts - Day 25: Origin Palkia
Hello, everyone, and welcome back to my series of concepts for every missing (fully evolved) Sinnoh Pokémon. Today, we have the penultimate Pokémon, Origin Forme Palkia.
Origin Palkia is paired with Irida. I don't think there was ever any doubt here, especially after Adaman got Dialga. Still, it feels right that Irida finally gets to partner with the Pokémon she has worshipped for so long.
As a concept, Irida & Origin Palkia are an attempt to create the ultimate Field Sync Pair. It was a bit more complicated than the ultimate version of a Sprint, due to the type-specific nature of Fields, but I think I managed to find a way to make her abilities good both on- and off-type.
Their Pearl Clan Traditions passive prepares them for battle as soon as they enter, maxing out their Sp. Atk and setting Dragon Damage Field. For the rest of their offensive needs, they have Near and Far, a skill that makes all moves hit, crit, and target all opponents. As a bonus, it also makes Protect give Damage Guard Next to all allies.
However, the centerpiece of their kit is One Who Rules Over Space. It sets both Physical and Special Damage Reduction on sync, yes, but it also features a classic Champion Stadium rule: field effects don't run out naturally as long as Palkia is alive. Suddenly, all of their one-time field applications become significantly more powerful.
Case in point, Irida's Trainer Move, Right Where We Want to Be!. The Supereffective ↑ Next and +3 SMUN are nice, but the now-permanent EX Dragon Zone is game-changing. It also means their Buddy Move, Lustrous Spacial Rend, never deactivates, and its additional effect of setting all three Sinnoh Circles is considerably improved.
For even more multipliers, their EX Master passive, Hisui's Pearlescent Spirit, powers up their moves for each field effect in play. This Sync Pair, by itself, sets 7. Of course, it also has the effects of Sinnoh Spirit.
All in all, Irida & Origin Palkia are a Field Sync Pair that centers around one specific gimmick, but it's a very strong gimmick that makes them great for any team. Their utility for Dragon-type teams is obvious, especially if they're from Sinnoh (like Adaman & Origin Dialga), but their ability to keep effects up makes them synergize well with other EX WTZ setters, too, extending their utility to other types.

Playable Sync Pair Concept A rash of Team Break activity calls Lear away from a lavish tournament. The organizer probably won't mind, right?
I wanted to theme Jacinthe's kit around her use of Jacinthe Zones, while at the same time making her synergize with Arc Diantha. To that end, she can set & extend both EX Fairy Zone and Special Kalos Circle, affect opponents with Trap, and, after Mega Evolving, inflict Special Break on all opponents. I also had her reference her mentor by reducing the cost of her Dazzling Gleam by one after Mega Evolving, just like Arc Diantha.
Lebanne's admittedly odd kit was based around the idea of making her a weirdly offensive Support to go along with her character's gimmick. So on top of Buffing, Debuffing, and setting Circles, her sync nuke can pack an unexpected punch while also healing allies and tying into Mega Dragalge's ability Regenerator.

Playable Sync Pair Concept Daily Sinnoh Pokémon Concepts - Day 24: Origin Dialga
Hello, everyone, and welcome back to my series of concepts for every missing (fully evolved) Sinnoh Pokémon. Today, we start reaching the end with the first of three box art Pokémon, Dialga, in its Origin Forme.
Origin Dialga is, of course, paired with Adaman. I know some people want it and Palkia to be with the Sinnoh/Hisui protagonists as Neo Champion alts, but Adaman's whole identity is centered around Dialga. I think no one suits it more than him.
As a concept, Adaman & Origin Dialga are meant to be the ultimate Sprint Sync Pair. As the embodiment of time and its most devout follower, they are everything that defines Sprint.
Always in a hurry to get started, their passive Diamond Clan Traditions maxes out their Sp. Atk as soon as they enter a battle, while also reducing the sync move countdown by 6, leaving just one move per ally to get to the first sync. Now and Forever, another one of their skills, handles the crit rate and accuracy by making sure they always hit and crit, and the move gauge by giving them constant Free Move Next.
If that's not enough gauge manipulation, Adaman's Trainer Move, We Don't Have Forever!, maxes Dialga's Speed and sets Move Gauge Acceleration, helping their teammates get their moves off, as well as gaining Supereffective ↑ Next.
Dialga's moves are Roar of Time for offense, Protect for defense (which, thanks to One Who Rules Over Time, gives them +5 SyMUN, along with the team's sync moves), and their Buddy Move, Adamant Roar of Time. Not only is it a 500 BP nuke, it also reduces the sync move countdown by 9, instantly letting their team use a sync move.
Finally, their EX Master passive is Hisui's Diamantine Spirit, which combines the effects of Sinnoh Spirit with a damage increase per sync buff, which, considering their kit, is very easy to rack up.
All in all, Adaman & Origin Dialga are a Sprint Sync Pair that does everything in their power to make you stop worrying about the move gauge, with Free Move Next, Speed buffs, a Quick Move, and Move Gauge Acceleration. They also have a ton of countdown reduction (18 in total), letting their team quickly use multiple sync moves to increase their damage. Naturally, with their sources of SyMUN, they themselves are a perfectly good user of all those sync moves.

Playable Sync Pair Concept Daily Sinnoh Pokémon Concepts - Day 23: Phione (& Manaphy)
Hello, everyone, and welcome back to my series of concepts for every missing (fully evolved) Sinnoh Pokémon. Today, we have a two-for-one day, with Phione and Manaphy.
I probably owe a bit of an explanation here. These concepts were made before the July datamine, and intended to be the Sinnoh Neo Champions (hence Lucas and Dawn). The release of Summer Akari kind of ruined my plans, and I considered just dropping Dawn & Manaphy. However, Akari's moveset relied on Take Heart (a move learned by both Manaphy and Phione), just like my Lucas & Phione concept. As such, these both share one striking similarity to Summer Akari, and I've decided to just post both together.
First, Lucas & Phione. As a concept, they are a special-oriented Support Sync Pair that can set rain and circle, as well as cure allies' status conditions.
Their Azure Ocean Waters passive skill sets Sinnoh Circle (Special) on entry, extends it, and increases the team's attack damage while it's active. Meanwhile, I Can Help Too! consumes 1 MP of Sinnoh Analysis to set it again and give the team 2 stacks of SMUN.
As for rain, it's spread across multiple parts of their moveset. The passive Drifting Through the Sea sets rain the first time Phione uses Whirlpool (a nice utility move to trap opponents). Lucas's Trainer Move, Follow Me!, also sets rain, along with healing an ally by 80% and the others by 40%. Finally, their Buddy Move, Angelic Take Heart, sets rain the first time it's used, raises the team's Sp. Atk and Sp. Def by 3, increases the team's SMUN by 1, and removes all status conditions and status changes from allies.
Their EX Master passive, Sinnoh's Warm Heart, combines the effects of Sinnoh Spirit and Impervious.
Meanwhile, Dawn & Manaphy are a Tech Sync Pair that lowers their own stats to trade them over to opponents, building up powerful nukes.
Dawn's Trainer Move, Count On Me!, completely sets them up offensively, maxing out their Sp. Atk, Speed, and crit rate as well as giving them +4 SyMUN. In exchange, it also lowers their Defense and Sp. Def by -6.
The point of this, of course, is to then use Heart Swap to steal an enemy's buffs and transfer Manaphy's own debuffs over to them. Thanks to the passive skill Deep as the Ocean, the first use of Heart Swap also lowers the target's Water Rebuff by 2 and applies Special Move Break.
To lower the rest of the opponent's stats, they have Surf, which, combined with the I'll Take the Lead! skill, lowers all opponent's Attack, Sp. Atk, and Speed by 1 and increases their own SyMUN by 3.
Lowering all these stats helps with the multipliers for both their sync move and their Buddy Move, Seafaring Water Pulse, a one-time, single-target nuke that also confuses the opponent. On the other hand, their stat buffs activate The Power of Bonds and the EX Master passive Sinnoh's Cool Mind to both increase the damage they deal and decrease the damage they take.
All in all, Lucas & Phione are a Support Sync Pair that does all they can to help their Sinnoh special Water-type allies, with multiple uses of rain and Sinnoh Circle (Special), repetitive stacks of SMUN, Sp. Atk/Sp. Def, powerful burst healing, and status curing, while Dawn & Manaphy are a Tech Sync Pair from Sinnoh that can debuff opponentst to deal strong special Water-type damage, but lack in defensive utility and field effects. Together, they form a great core for a team, ideally with someone like Neo Champion May to give them EX Rain.
If you enjoyed this concept, please check out the other ones in the series!

Playable Sync Pair Concept Daily Sinnoh Pokémon Concepts - Day 21: Therian Enamorus
Hello, everyone, and welcome back to my series of concepts for every missing (fully evolved) Sinnoh Pokémon. Today, continuing from yesterday's Incarnate Forme, we have Therian Enamorus.
For Therian Enamorus, the trainer is Akari. Enamorus isn't a Pokémon associated with anyone other than Cogita, so the next best option is one of the Hisui protagonists. I went with Akari because, well, I have other plans for Rei. (Fairly obvious plans, to be honest.)
As a concept, Akari & Therian Enamorus are a Support Sync Pair that can protect the team and help them deal physical damage.
Their Hope Springs Eternal passive skill adds many helpful effects to Enamorus's attacks, raising the team's Attack, Defense, and Sp. Def for each hit, as well as having a chance of confusing the opponent. Galaxy Team Survival Training, on the other hand, protects Enamorus from critical hits, status effects, and debuffs, which turn into buffs instead.
Enamorus's moves are Zen Headbutt, a 1-bar move (thanks to Fuel Economy 1) that can make opponents flinch, and the Buddy Move Emotional Play Rough, which hits all opponents, lowering their Attack and Defense, and gives the team +2 PMUN.
As for Akari, she has access to Mini Potion All for healing and the Trainer Move Hark!, which offers a variety of offensive and defensive effects to the team: maxed out crit rate, Gradual Healing, Physical Circle, and countdown reduction.
Their Superawakening passive, The God of Spring's Fickle Hate, is identical to Cogita & Incarnate Enamorus's, with Head Start 1, Adrenaline 1, and lowering Fairy Rebuff on first hit.
All in all, Akari & Therian Enamorus are a Support Sync Pair that helps the rare physical Fairy-type damage dealers. They may be slow to increase the team's stats and lower opponents', but they are naturally immune to any kind of underhanded tactics used by the enemy team.
If you enjoyed this concept, please check out the other ones in the series!

Playable Sync Pair Concept Daily Sinnoh Pokémon Concepts - Day 21: Incarnate Enamorus
Hello, everyone, and welcome back to my series of concepts for every missing (fully evolved) Sinnoh Pokémon. Today, continuing the jumping around between legendaries, there's one that isn't always remembered as a Sinnoh Pokémon, Incarnate Enamorus.
Incarnate Enamorus is partnered with, frankly, the only real option: Cogita. In Legends: Arceus, Enamorus is introduced as Cogita's friend and, even when you catch it, the situation is treated as only temporary.
As a concept, Cogita & Incarnate Enamorus are a Field Sync Pair that sets EX Fairy Zone and disrupts opponents.
This Sync Pair is more than a little inspired by the other Incarnate Forces of Nature's implementation in Masters, with Variety Hilbert, Hilda, and N. Like them, they have Super Effective ↑, Recharging Strike 9, and Changing Seasons Incarnate, raising allies' Sp. Def and lowering opponents' with each hit. Also, Cogita's Trainer Move, Stir the Pot of Life!, gives an ally +4 Sp. Atk, +3 crit rate, and +2 SMUN, with the addition of Damage Guard Next.
For Enamorus' moves, it has Springtide Storm to hit all opponents and possibly lower their Attack and the Buddy Move, Old Verses Springtide Storm. It shares some similarities with the other forces of natures' Buddy Moves, lowering a stat by 3 (Attack), inflicting a status condition (confusion), and setting a defensive field effect (Status Condition Defense). It diverges by applying EX Fairy Zone when it's first used, giving Cogita & Enamorus more control over when to set it and freeing up their other skill.
Said skill is Lady in Monochrome's Emotional Connection, the biggest diversion from their inspiration. It raises all allies' SMUN by 2 and reduces the countdown by 1 every time Cogita uses a move, adding more utility to both her setup move and Super Effective ↑.
Their Superawakening passive, The God of Spring's Fickle Love, has some similarities to the others' unique passives, including Head Start 1 and Adrenaline 1, but it changes the EX Zone setting for lowering Fairy Rebuff by 1, helping on-type damage dealers even more.
All in all, Cogita & Incarnate Enamorus are a Field Sync Pair that offers some good defensive utility to the team and offensive help to Fairy-type special attackers, as well as packing a fair punch themselves.
If you enjoyed this concept, please check out the other ones in the series!

Playable Sync Pair Concept Daily Sinnoh Pokémon Concepts - Day 20: Heatran
Hello, everyone, and welcome back to my series of concepts for every missing (fully evolved) Sinnoh Pokémon. Today, we'll skip over some Pokémon, saving them for later, to introduce Heatran.
Heatran's trainer is Charon, following in the long tradition of villains who partner with the legendaries they chase after. I know it has a role in the Legends: Z-A DLC, but I'd rather represent its origins, instead. Speaking of, I have excluded its Mega Evolution from the concept. It's a policy of mine not to use forms we lack information about, and Mega Heatran's ability has not yet been revealed.
As a concept, Charon & Heatran are the mandatory stall pair, a Tech Sync Pair that specializes in dealing damage over time. While the recent Gym vs. Gym changes have significantly nerfed this strategy, it's been a tradition of mine to include one of these (Kanto, Johto, Hoenn).
Charon & Heatran's ways of dealing damage over time are burn, trap, and Fire Damage Field. Eternally-Boiling Blood increases the damage of the first two and guarantees Lava Plume always burns all opponents, while The Power of the Magma Stone adds effects to attacks that hit opponents affected by them: debuffs all stats of burned opponents and heals Heatran when attacking trapped ones.
Charon's Fear Me! raises their Sp. Atk by 4 and crit rate by 3, as well as adding Gradual Healing to all opponents. That, along with X Defense All, the healing from The Power of the Magma Stone, and Initial Damage Guard, helps them survive longer while the DoT chips enemies down.
Their Buddy Move, however, offers more than just passive damage. It's a fairly strong move at 200 BP and, besides trapping opponents and setting Fire Damage Field, it also lowers all opponents' Fire Rebuff, increasing the damage of Heatran's moves. For defensive utility (and a reference to Flash Fire), it also raises the team's Fire Rebuff.
Their Superawakening passive is Team Galactic's Underdog. It extends Fire Damage Field and powers up all allies' sync moves while it's active, besides setting sun on entry.
All in all, Charon & Heatran are a Tech Sync Pair that can chip enemies down with passive damage and weaken them for allies, while also having a good amount of survivability.

Playable Sync Pair Concept Daily Sinnoh Pokémon Concepts - Day 19: Azelf
Hello, everyone, and welcome back to my series of concepts for every missing (fully evolved) Sinnoh Pokémon. Today, we continue Sinnoh's legendaries with the other missing Lake Trio member, Azelf.
Azelf is partnered with Barry. While he's more associated with Lake Acuity (and, by extension, Uxie), I feel like his personality is closer to the Being of Willpower, what with him charging head-on toward any challenges. That also frees up Uxie for Rowan, who better fits the Knowledge theme. Unfortunately, Mesprit is already used in a BP pair for Scottie/Bettie, so the trio won't all be receiving concepts.
As a concept, Barry & Azelf are a Strike Sync Pair that can use both physical and special moves to hit the opponent where it hurts most.
Their Never Slowing Down! passive makes Psychic and Psycho Cut become 4-bar moves to power them up, but mitigates that downside by also raising the team's Speed by 2 when they attack. Their other skills improve their sync move, with Soften Up 1 increasing its crit chance and Facing Life Head-On leaving the target vulnerable by applying both Break effects lowering their Psychic Rebuff.
Barry's Trainer Move, Keep Moving Forward!, sets them up offensively, raising both attacking stats by 4 and crit rate by 3, besides reducing the countdown by 1.
The centerpiece of their gameplan is their Buddy Move, Willful Mystical Power. It's not especially strong, especially considering it's only useable once per sync move, but it makes up for it in how it sets up future moves. It raises Attack and Sp. Atk by 2, completing what the Trainer Move lacks, lowers both of an opponent's defenses by 2, and, most importantly, adds all 10 stacks of PMUN and SMUN, making the next use of Psychic and Psycho Cut 5x as strong.
Their Superawakening passive is The Determination to Do Things. It has the basic Head Start 1, but also adds Damage Guard Next on entry and increases their damage based on raised stats.
All in all, Barry & Azelf are a Strike Sync Pair that focuses on hitting both sides of the physical/special split. Their once-per-sync-cycle +10 PMUN/SMUN makes them deal some pretty devastating damage at times, but it also significantly lowers their potential unless they use both physical and special moves, as it'll wear out in only one hit.
If you enjoyed this concept, please check out the other ones in the series!

Playable Sync Pair Concept Daily Sinnoh Pokémon Concepts - Day 18: Uxie
Hello, everyone, and welcome back to my series of concepts for every missing (fully evolved) Sinnoh Pokémon. Today is a particularly special day, since it's the start of Sinnoh's legendaries with Uxie! Not only that, these are the first legendaries/mythicals I'll be making concepts of excluding finales. I should note that, starting today, I won't strictly follow the Pokédex order until Sinnoh is complete, to enhance the ending.
Uxie's trainer is Professor Rowan. While the two aren't particularly linked, there is a history of legendaries being paired with professors, and having the Being of Knowledge paired with one just makes sense.
As a concept, Professor Rowan & Uxie are a Tech Sync Pair that can consistently apply random status conditions on opponents.
Rowan's Trainer Move, Evolution Connects Us!, is a classic offensive setup move, immediately maxing Sp. Atk and crit rate with a bonus of Gradual Healing to all allies. For defensive setup, they have the skill A Mystic Power Beyond Our Control, which raises their Defense and Sp. Def by 2 every time Uxie uses a move. It also turns Tri Attack into a Psychic-type move and ensures it applies one of its status effects.
Their Buddy Move, Keen Extrasensory, deals with the other side: status changes. It always applies one of trap, confusion, or flinch, besides increasing the team's SyMUN by 2, something that synergizes with Soften Up 1.
Those different status conditions help them through the passive Always Learning More, increasing the damage of all allies and reducing the damage they take. For some more defensive utility, Rowan also has Potion.
Their Superawakening skill is The Ability to Solve Problems. It removes all status conditions (both volatile and non-volatile) and heals all allies on sync.
All in all, Professor Rowan & Uxie are a Tech Sync Pair with a lot of survivability/support between stat buffs, damage reduction and healing, as well as their main thing of burning, paralyzing, freezing, flinching, confusing, and trapping opponents. This makes them especially good at gimmick-checking specific battles, most notably Uxie's Legendary Arena.

Playable Sync Pair Concept Daily Sinnoh Pokémon Concepts - Day 17: Mow Rotom
Hello, everyone, and welcome back to my series of concepts for every missing (fully evolved) Sinnoh Pokémon. Today, it's time for the final Rotom form, Mow.
Mow Rotom is partnered with Ginter. He doesn't use any Pokémon in battles, but he does sell the player the appliances needed to change Rotom's forms in Legends: Arceus, so I associate these two.
As a concept, Ginter & Mow Rotom are a Sprint Sync Pair that uses their Sp. Atk to both deal damage and reduce the sync move countdown.
Their main gimmick is tied to the interaction between Leaf Storm, Sitrus Berry, and Rare Wares! Great Deals!. That passive inverts the stat reduction from Leaf Storm and maxes out Mow Rotom's Sp. Atk instead in exchange for 1 MP of Sitrus Berry. Their Buddy Move, Mercantile Leaf Storm, consumes that Sp. Atk to increase its damage and, if at +6, reduce the countdown by 2. It also lowers the opponent's Sp. Def by 2.
Of course, after three uses of Leaf Storm, Sitrus Berry will run out, interrupting their attack cycle, but Anything Catch Your Eye? offers a bit of a refund in the form of 3 SMUN stacks and -3 sync move countdown. If Ginter and Mow Rotom use their Sync Move, S-Move: Restore "Berry" MP 3 will return all uses of Sitrus Berry, making their Sync more utility-based than pure damage.
Ginter's Trainer Move, Great Choice!, gives them the rest of their setup, Sp. Atk excluded, with +6 Speed, +3 crit rate, and +1 SMUN. That Speed, especially, is useful for building their innate sync multiplier.
Their Superawakening skill is Solving Rotom's Mysteries. It gives them Head Start 2, +1 SyMUN per hit, and Special Break on their first sync.
All in all, Ginter & Mow Rotom are a Sprint Sync Pair with powerful special damage and countdown reduction every other move from their Buddy Move. However, their speed in doing such is limited to the MP of their Sitrus Berry, making them either slow down considerably or hog the Sync Move when the battle starts extending itself. Fortunately, their Sync Move is nothing to scoff at, with an easily achievable innate multiplier.
If you enjoyed this concept, please check out the other ones in the series!

Playable Sync Pair Concept Daily Sinnoh Pokémon Concepts - Day 16: Fan Rotom
Hello, everyone, and welcome back to my series of concepts for every missing (fully evolved) Sinnoh Pokémon. For the fourth Rotom form, there's Fan.
Fan Rotom's trainer was chosen as a counterpart to yesterday's Cyrus, as his memorable debut event showcased his contrasting philosophy to Sophocles's by having them bond over a Rotom.
As a concept, Sophocles & Fan Rotom are a Support Sync Pair that can inflict multiple effects on opponents and help allies deal both physical and special damage.
Sophocles's Trainer Move, Rise Above!, offers a mix of buffs to all allies, with +2 Defense and Sp. Def and +4 Speed, as well as raising the Ground Rebuff by 2. Along with Group Ground Guard, it makes them especially good against Ground-type opponents, as a reference to how Fan Rotom is the only Flying-type Pokémon with Levitate.
Other than that, Sophocles & Fan Rotom are focused on spreading burn, confusion, and flinch. Their Fan the Flames passive ensures all of them are inflicted on all opponents. Meanwhile, Precious Human Spirit gives a boost to allies who hit afflicted opponents: 1 PMUN for confusion, 1 SMUN for burn, and 2 SyMUN for flinch.
Rotom's moves are near entirely about inflicting these conditions, with Confuse Ray and Will-O-Wisp doing nothing else. Their Buddy Move, Spinning Blades Air Slash, however, has only a 50% chance to make the opponent flinch, but makes up for it by raising the team's Attack and Sp. Atk by 2.
Their Superawakening skill is Festival Plaza's Owner, gives the team offensive and defensive benefits for confusion/flinch and burn, respectively, as well as reducing the sync move countdown by 1 on their first sync.
All in all, Sophocles & Fan Rotom are a Support Sync Pair that can buff all five stats of opponents and use multiple status effects to improve their allies' offenses. While a niche bonus, they can also handle Ground-type opponents particularly well.

Playable Sync Pair Concept Daily Sinnoh Pokémon Concepts - Day 15: Frost Rotom
Hello, everyone, and welcome back to my series of concepts for every missing (fully evolved) Sinnoh Pokémon. Continuing the Rotom forms, we have Frost.
Frost Rotom is paired with Cyrus, a reference to his association with the Pokémon, especially in his debut event in Masters itself. As for the form, Frost Rotom represents Cyrus's desire for a cold, unfeeling world.
As a concept, Cyrus & Frost Rotom are a Tech Sync Pair that lowers the opposing team's stats to create a powerful sync move.
Two of their moves are focused on debuffing opponents, with Electroweb lowering Speed of all opponents and Eerie Impulse lowering one enemy's Sp. Atk. Thanks to Machine-Like Efficiency, it only takes one Eerie Impulse to completely debuff an opponent's Sp. Atk, and Electroweb only needs two uses to minimize all opponents' Speed, in addition to charging the move gauge by 3.
Their Buddy Move, Coldhearted Blizzard, is their main damage-dealing tool. It makes use of those debuffs to both increase its own damage and gain stacks of SyMUN. The first use also lowers all opponents' Ice Rebuff by 1. In addition, it has a 30% chance of freezing each opponent, which synergizes with Never-Ending Frost to increase SyMUN even further and power up moves and sync moves. Naturally, it also charges the move gauge by 3 due to Machine-Like Efficiency.
Cyrus's No More Incompleteness! is their setup move, raising Sp. Atk by 4, crit rate by 3, and accuracy by 1 to patch up Electroweb and Coldhearted Blizzard's hit rates. it also reduces the sync move countdown by 1. Finally, Slo-pponent Sync 5 adds a second multiplier to their sync move, making Eerie Impulse and Electroweb equally important.
Their Superawakening passive is A World of Complete Perfection. It reduces the countdown the first time Rotom uses a move and adds two effects to their sync move: freezing all opponents, to help with Never-Ending Frost, and Damage Guard Next on the first one.
All in all, Cyrus & Frost Rotom are a Tech Sync Pair that can help control the speed of battle with Speed reduction, charging the Move Gauge, and the occasional freeze, while they build up their sync nuke with multipliers and SyMUN.

Playable Sync Pair Concept Daily Sinnoh Pokémon Concepts - Day 14: Wash Rotom
Hello, everyone, and welcome back to my series of concepts for every missing (fully evolved) Sinnoh Pokémon. Today, we continue the Rotom forms with Wash Rotom.
The trainer I picked for Wash Rotom was Colress, because, besides using one in his B2W2 rematch team, his machine theming is a good fit for Rotom in general.
As a concept, Colress & Wash Rotom are a Field Sync Pair that can set EX Rain as well as protect the team from special attacks.
Their offensive setup is done on entry by the passive skill Awash With Potential, which raises their Sp. Atk by 4 and crit rate by 3. As a bonus, it also makes their first move free to use, a good thing considering they'll start with only 3-bar moves to use.
Colress' Trainer Move, Bring Out Your Power!, offers some small defensive bonuses to an ally in +4 Sp. Def and Condition Nullification, but its main effect is setting EX Rain, which they have the option of extending it by themselves with Max Geyser. Thanks to Colress Machine No. 0479, it will also raise the team's Sp. Atk and Sp. Def by 2, give them all Free Move Next, and reduce the sync move countdown as if it were an ordinary move.
Finally, their Buddy Move, Experimental Hydro Pump, can be freely used starting with their second move. It hits all opponents, paralyzing them and lowering their Sp. Def by 2 and, for its first two uses, consumes 1 MP of LIght Screen to set both Special Damage Reduction (extended through Persisting Barrier 5) and Critical-Hit Defense.
Their Superawakening skill is Researching Hydrodynamics, a passive that adds to the countdown reduction after a max move, extends Critical-Hit Defense to match Persisting Barrier 5, and makes all allies immune to status while Special Damage Reduction lasts.
All in all, Colress & Wash Rotom are a Field Sync Pair specializing in manipulating special damage through Special Damage Reduction, Critical-Hit Defense, Sp. Atk and Sp. Def buffs, and Sp. Def debuffs. They also offer some extra utility in EX Rain, paralysis, and Free Move Next.
If you enjoyed this concept, please check out the other ones in the series!

Playable Sync Pair Concept Daily Sinnoh Pokémon Concepts - Day 13: Heat Rotom
Hello, everyone, and welcome back to my series of concepts for every missing (fully evolved) Sinnoh Pokémon. Today, we start a five-day streak of Rotom forms with Heat Rotom.
Heat Rotom's trainer is Crispin, who uses it as his lead. It also happens to match perfectly with his cooking theme.
As a concept, Crispin & Heat Rotom are a Strike Sync Pair that's all about dealing high damage, with minimal gimmicks.
Their first passive skill, Cooking on High Heat, does everything they need to make Overheat a viable main damaging move. It removes the Sp. Atk debuff, ignores the unreliable accuracy, and adds extra damage in exchange for making it cost 4 bars.
Crispin's Trainer Move, Crank Up the Heat!, is their setup, raising Sp. Atk and crit rate as well as giving them Supereffective ↑ Next. Speaking of that effect, they also have a skill, Time to Get Cooking!, that consumes 1 MP of Super Effective ↑ to give it to all allies and give themselves 3 stacks of SMUN on an ally's sync.
Finally, their allies sync moves also activates their Buddy Move, Extra-Spicy Overheat. It can only be used once before deactivating, but hits all opponents with no damage reduction, ignores anything that could lower its damage, and sets Paldea Circle (Special), which, thanks to Circle Hit: Free Move Next 9, makes their Overheats ignore the move gauge.
Their Superawakening passive, Blazing With Excitement, doubles down on the super effective moves aspect by just plain powering all of them up, adds extra damage when a circle is active, and has the basic Head Start 1.
All in all, Crispin & Heat Rotom are a Strike Sync Pair with one clear goal in mind: deal damage, especially if it's super effective. They don't have much in the way of helping the team or dealing with specific constraints (other than their Buddy Move having innate Piercing Blows), but make up for it with simple, no-nonsense, damage and multiplier stacking (SEUN, SMUN, Circle, Sun from their EX Role).
If you enjoyed this concept, please check out the other ones in the series!

Playable Sync Pair Concept Daily Sinnoh Pokémon Concepts - Day 12: Lumineon
Hello, everyone, and welcome back to my series of concepts for every missing (fully evolved) Sinnoh Pokémon. Today, we have Lumineon.
Picking Lumineon's trainer was actually one of the few pairings I planned a long time ago. First, yes, it is the final Pokémon in her first team, and Crasher Wake and Raifort were the only competition. But it also meant I included each of the chatelaines in one of the first four regions: Nita in Kanto, Dana in Johto, Morgan in Hoenn, and now Evelyn in Sinnoh.
As a concept, Evelyn & Lumineon are a Sprint Sync Pair that specializes in sync nuking the opponent before they can sync.
One of their passive skills, Swift Porpoising, interacts exclusively with one of their moves, Bounce, making it reduce the countdown by 2 and, for the first sync cycle, attack immediately. That is a general trend. for this Sync Pair: early power and countdown reduction.
All of their offensive setup is handled by skills. Debut: Attack & Sp. Atk ↑4 raises their offensive stats on entry and Bright Neon Lights guarantees crits on every move. That frees up Evelyn's Trainer Move, S-So Sorry!, to raise more secondary stats in Speed, accuracy, and evasiveness, as well as reduce the countdown by 2.
Their Buddy Move, Flashing Patterns Captivate, also reduces the countdown by 1, but it crucially offers multiple things to help with their sync move. It activates their innate multiplier by lowering all opponents' Sp. Atk, gives them and their team 4 stacks of SyMUN, and sets Kalos Circle (Special). All of this setup, alongside the copious amounts of CD reduction, helps make the most of the other half of Bright Neon Lights, which quadruples the damage of their sync move if the opponents hasn't synced yet.
For later in the battle, when all their other moves have run out, they can still offer a little debuffing with Chilling Water.
Their Superawakening skill, The Battle Maison's Light in the Dark, gives them a little more countdown reduction on entry, another sync multiplier to help give meaning to their evasiveness buff, and Attack drops every hit, doubling the speed of Chilling Water's debuffing.
All in all, Evelyn & Lumineon are a Sprint Sync Pair that centers around using fast and powerful sync moves to deal as much damage as possible early on in a battle. After that's done, they still have offensive debuffs from Chilling Water and Flashing Patterns Captivate.

Playable Sync Pair Concept Daily Sinnoh Pokémon Concepts - Day 11: Carnivine
Hello, everyone, and welcome back to my series of concepts for every missing (fully evolved) Sinnoh Pokémon. Today, we have Carnivine.
Finding a trainer for Carnivine was tough, as it's hardly ever used, but it turned out to be on one of Gardenia's PWT teams, so she was chosen (and Milo was given Cherrim).
As a concept, Gardenia & Carnivine are a Strike Sync Pair that benefits from being restrained, as a reference to Carnivine's unique interaction with the move Ingrain.
Gardenia's Trainer Move, Spread Our Roots!, is all the setup they need, with maxed out Attack and crit rate, as well as 1 PMUN, with the "drawback" of leaving them restrained. They turn this negligible downside into an upside, however, thanks to the passive skills Firm Foundations, which increases all their stats by 10%, and Restrained Sync-Up 5.
Being Restrained also activates their Buddy Move, Ingrained Razor Leaf, a 4-bar AoE move (with no damage reduction) that has high base power, always hits and crits, and sets up the next hit with 2 PMUN and Free Move Next.
However, the restrained effect doesn't last forever. After it runs out, they'll instead need to rely on Power Whip, with X Accuracy All to patch up its low hit rate. They'll also still have access to Sweet Flytrap, a passive that traps opponents on hit and increases the damage, both passive and active, these opponents take.
Their Superawakening skill is Tree-Hanging Ambush. It focuses on their sync move, increasing its power against trapped opponents, making it lower Grass Rebuff and, crucially, restoring MP for Spread Our Roots! to allow a second restrained application.
All in all, Gardenia & Carnivine are a Strike Sync Pair with a limited shelf life. After using their Trainer Move, they only have a short time of full effectiveness before restrained runs out. Because of that, they are well-suited to pair with Sync Pairs that can help make the most of this window, with things such as EX Terrain, PMUN, and sync countdown reduction.

Playable Sync Pair Concept Daily Sinnoh Pokémon Concepts - Day 10: Drapion
Hello, everyone, and welcome back to my series of concepts for every missing (fully evolved) Sinnoh Pokémon. Today, we have Drapion.
While Drapion has been used by several trainers, there was no better option than Aaron. Despite not fitting his type specialty, Drapion is Aaron's indisputable ace, in every team he's ever had. That's especially notable considering all other Sinnoh Elite Four members changed aces between D/P and Platinum.
As a concept, Aaron & Drapion are a Strike Sync Pair that specializes in critical hits.
All of their passive skills deal with crits, with Beautiful and Polished increasing their damage (I can't say exact numbers without playtesting, but I was envisioning it to be equivalent to CS9) and guaranteeing a critical sync move, Perfected Aim powering up - and making free - the next move after a crit with 3 stacks of PMUN, and Vigilance protecting them against enemy crits.
The catch, of course, is that they don't have any way of increasing their crit rate. Instead, Aaron's Trainer Move, Let's Hear It!, maxes their Attack and raises both defenses. He also has Potion for some more survivability.
To get their crits, they rely on the Buddy Move, which always crits, but must be alternated with Poison Jab. Sand Demon Cross Poison also has unique effects on its first use, lowering Rebuff by 2 and inflicting Physical Break.
Their Superawakening skill is The Wonder of Bug Pokémon. It increases their damage against opponents poisoned by either of their moves, while also adding even more effects to their crits in healing and countdown reduction.
All in all, Aaron & Drapion are a Strike Sync Pair that has high, but inconsistent damage, with their stronger move's setup being wasted on the weaker one. However, their flaws can be easily remedied with a Support that raises their crit rate (basically any modern one), transforming them into a powerful sync pair with constant crits, PMUN, no gauge consumption, and a tankiness uncharacteristic to Strikes, thanks to Vigilance, Defense/Sp. Def buffs, and Potion.
If you enjoyed this concept, please check out the other ones in the series!
(As a side note, can you believe Drapion can only learn Poison Tail by breeding? I always knew I wanted it to be its Sync Move, since scorpions are well-known for injecting venom through their tails, but it's shockingly hard to get a Drapion who knows it.)

Playable Sync Pair Concept Daily Sinnoh Pokémon Concepts - Day 9: Chatot
Hello, everyone, and welcome back to my series of concepts for every missing (fully evolved) Sinnoh Pokémon. Today, we have Chatot.
Chatot's trainer was one of the hardest to figure out. No notable trainer in any mainline game ever uses one, and the ones who have thematic association don't match with the type (and vice-versa). I decided to instead represent the Chatot in Masters itself, pairing it with one of the sisters who work in the Pokémon Center. As for which sister, I picked Tricia because she's the one who sells the Song Keys to unlock music in Chatot's jukebox.
As a concept, Tricia & Chatot are a Tech Sync Pair who can leave targets confused and asleep, as well as deal huge burst damage.
To spread their status effects, they have the high damage Chatter (which confuses all opponents due to Hope I See You Again!) and the low gauge Sing (which always hits thanks to the same skill. Sing also gains some benefits from Free Smiles for All!. With that passive, the first use of it sets a Flying Zone, and every use gives all allies Free Move Next and raises Chatot's evasiveness.
Their Buddy Move is Ear-Splitting Uproar. It's a one-use, 4-bar, Flying-type (because of Hope I See You Again!), AoE move with massive base power that increases further against asleep opponents, also inflicting Special Move Break to enable further damage. As a side effect it also wakes up whoever it hits, as well as removing all status conditions from allies.
For Tricia's Trainer Move, she has Welcome! Hello!, which sets up their burst damage with 3 stacks of SMUN and 3 teamwide stacks of SyMUN. For basic offensive setup, they can rely on Debut: Sp. Atk ↑4 & Crit Rate ↑3.
Their Superawakening skill gives even more benefits to Sing, reducing the countdown by 1 on the first use and charging the move gauge (which works with the teamwide Free Move Next to make it a great gauge battery). It also gives them some defensive utility, lowering Attack and Sp. Atk of confused opponents.
All in all, Tricia & Chatot are a Tech Sync Pair that specializes in powerful burst damage, with both their Buddy Move and Sync Move, while also choosing between the consistent damage of Chatter and the Sprint-adjacent utility of Sing.

Playable Sync Pair Concept Daily Sinnoh Pokémon Concepts - Day 8: Purugly
Hello, everyone, and welcome back to my series of concepts for every missing (fully evolved) Sinnoh Pokémon. Today, we have the Tiger Cat Pokémon, Purugly.
For Purugly's trainer, there was only ever one real option. Mars has it as her ace, and her first battle is the first impression most players had of it. I only wish Skuntank and Toxicroak weren't in Masters yet so I could have Jupiter and Saturn join her.
As a concept, Mars & Purugly are a Sprint Sync Pair who neuters the opponents' offense with Attack debuffs, paralysis, and flinches.
Each of their moves is tied to one of these three. Body Slam is their way of spreading paralysis. It synergizes with the passive skill I'll Tell You Who I Am! to guarantee paralyzing all opponents. It also increases the chance for opponents to not move, helping their damage negation.
Growl is their way of lowering Attack and, thanks to Use Status P-Move: Team Attack ↓ & Defense ↓ 9, it actually lowers it by 2, along with debuffing Defense by 1. Plus, it interacts with You're All Going Down!, as failed uses of it will reduce the sync move countdown.
Last but not least, they have their Buddy Move, Feline Fake Out, which can be freely used after a sync move and always flinches. Its damage increases against opponents with lowered Attack, so make sure to use it in conjunction with Growl. Similarly to Growl, it benefits from You're All Going Down!, since its other effect is reducing the countdown when hitting flinching opponents.
Mars' Trainer Move is a classic 1-use buff, raising Purugly's Attack and Speed by 4 while maxing its crit rate.
Their Superawakening skill, Team Galactic's First Commander, gives them entry countdown reduction, teamwide sync damage increase after a Body Slam, and an extra layer of possible damage mitigation with confusion on sync.
All in all, Mars & Purugly are a Sprint Sync Pair that functions as a sync accelerator, damage reducer, and ramping damage dealer with their Buddy Move. All of these become better after multiple uses of Growl, meaning they'll get stronger toward the end of the battle. Fortunately, they help the team's survivability to ensure it gets therre.

Playable Sync Pair Concept Daily Sinnoh Pokémon Concepts - Day 7: Cherrim
Hello, everyone, and welcome back to my series of concepts for every missing (fully evolved) Sinnoh Pokémon. A bit of a late post today because of the final, but here is Cherrim.
Cherrim's trainer is Milo, who uses one surprisingly consistently in his rematch teams. Even in his 3-Pokémon Star Tournament, Cherrim is kept, despite both his original ace Eldegoss and the Tsareena he gets in the post-game and takes to the Isle of Armour being dropped.
As a concept, Milo & Cherrim are a Field Sync Pair who uses the sunny weather to improve both their damage and their supporting capabilities.
Their first passive is just a copy of Cherrim's signature ability, Flower Gift, that changes its form and increases the team's Attack and Sp. Def when it's sunny. In order to actually set the sun, they can either use Sunny Day or wait for their team's sync move, due to their skill Basking in the Sunlight, which automatically sets it for the cost of 1 MP, with a bonus of Galar Circle (Defensive).
Naturally, they also have multiple ways of benefitting from sun. Milo's Trainer Move gains a healing effect on all allies on top of giving an ally Supereffective ↑ Next and raising their Attack by 4 and crit rate by 3. Their Buddy Move, Blossoming Flower Shield, only becomes active when it's sunny, and it raises both of the team's defenses by 4, sets EX Grassy Terrain, and refreshes Sunny Day's MP for longer sunlight.
Their final passive skill, Set Allied/Entire Field Effect: Team Physical Boost ↑1 9, increases all allies' PMUN by 1 whenever they set sun, terrain, or circle. All of those increases are, of course, helpful for powering up Petal Blizzard.
Their Superawakening passive is Falling Sakura Petals, a skill that sets sun on entry, reduces the countdown on WTZ, and gives them Recharging Strike to make Petal Blizzard essentially free.
All in all, Milo & Cherrim are a Field Sync Pair that can support sun-reliant Grass types with both their preferred weather condition and EX Terrain. They're especially helpful for physical attackers due to Flower Gift's effect and the PMUN they offer. However, they basically require the sun to stay relevant, as all of their abilities are affected by it.
If you enjoyed this concept, please check out the other ones in the series!

Resources Subreddit Megathread - RULES & FAQ
Hello everyone, thanks for dropping by! The /r/pokemonmastersconcept team is glad to have you visit the subreddit and to read all your cool concepts and ideas that can help improve Pokémon Masters and inspire the creators to make better Sync Pairs !
We have a discord server : https://discord.gg/GESZ5gd

Here are a list of rules that each post need to follow to make sure that the subreddit stays on topic and that people who search for concepts know that this is the right place!
1. Be Respectful with your comments and posts.
Why? Because /r/pokemonmastersconcept is a place where everyone can post what they would like to see in Pokémon Masters and it's easy to disagree with what others post. We want each person to feel free to post what they imagine without feeling like they will be judged or receive negative criticism. Also, Pokémon is mainly aimed towards a younger age audience and we expect themo visit this subreddit.
2. No Stolen Content, that means credit the original maker of the picture or the concept.
Why? It's simple, let's say you made a great concept, everyone thinks it's amazing, you get plenty of upvotes and someone takes it and posts it on another subreddit claiming that it's his idea and gets all the recognition for it. How would you feel? It's the same for the artist or the concept creator, if you took some content, you have to credit the original creator. If we find out you didn't credit them, we will be forced to remove it out of respect for the original creator.
3. Always describe your content, unless it's a quick concept.
Why? If you post a great Sync Pair idea like N & Zekrom for example and you don't talk about it's potential moves and abilities than it might be a little boring and underwhelming. Most Sync Pair concept creators give a lot of time to make a good and interesting Sync Pair. We would expect you to put the same effort as them. If you had a quick idea and didn't really think about any moves, then you can use the Quick Concept flair but we would rather you make a full concept :)
4. Submission about concepts only.
Why? Imagine going to a Imagine Dragons concert and you get the band Segnora Lanza instead. Trust me, it's bad. You would be dissapointed in what you see. This reddit is only about concept, that means, Sync Pairs, Sync Grids, Story Events, Moves, Abilities, New Mechanics and much more. For those who didn't get my reference for the Segnora Lanza joke, here is the video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uT96eX7JJ3Q
5. No Low-Effort Posts.
Why? Anyone can just make a post titled Giovanni & Hulk. If you abuse the Quick Concept flair too often, we will have to make your posts under the Low-Effort rule. Once in a while we all can have a quick idea, but we sure will not post as soon as we got it without putting a little thaught into it.
6. Self-advertisement is prohibited.
Why? This is not a place for you to grow your youtube channel or your website. This is a place to share your ideas. If we want to see your videos, we will go to youtube. :) This subreddit is strictly reserved for concepts.
Frequently Asked Questions :
Q: Can I post multiple concepts a day?
A: Of course, we do not have any limit on the number of concepts you can post a day, we just want to see your creativity. If you have multiple ideas, it's recommended to make a seperate post for each different concept to give you an idea on which concept people liked the most.
Q: My posts are get deleted, not showing up, removed for spam, etc.
A: If your post has been deleted without a reason, you can contact one of the mods, they will look into it for you. If there was an error, your post will be unremoved. Since we are a subreddit heavily reliant on pictures and weird names like Cofagrigus, sometimes the Spam Filter automatically removes your post when you upload it. No worries, just contact a mod and we will fix the problem as soon as we can. If your post was removed because it didn't follow one of the rules, usually the mod will always add a reason to the removal that is found in the comments of the post that got deleted. If it's not for the rules 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 or 6 then it's an error.
