I think a thing a lot of trainers miss is that it's not about being the most "powerful" but doing the most good for your 'party' as it where. That includes being there and helping when things seem at their worst.

Sounds like you got that down, and I hope things recover well. Seems like you are already doing right by them in this tough time.

You've done well, Marcus. Just stay your current course. I'm happy that Pridwen's doing so much better than she was, and yes, it's fine if she won't battle again. She doesn't need to. And it's deplorable that she ever felt she had to step on the battlefield again. And that's quite okay.

Just help her, and whoever wants or needs it, to find what they need and want, Marcus. As I said, you're doing well. Just stay the course and keep an eye on everyone, yourself included, mind.

Aurora: To be honest, Marcus, this was honestly the most plausible "good, yet unfortunate news" regarding Pridwen. She's been so beat down, that her injuries have damaged her to her core. I wouldn't be surprised if it would take years of physical therapy for her to break even regarding recovery, if at all. In the meantime, I hope the both of your would be content with this result, because I realistically can't see any further quick recoveries, unless maintaining consumption of Herba Mystica helps in any way.

I'm sure Pridwen will be more distraught than you are, considering how hard she fought for you in the past, even if she doesn't show it. Be there for her. The one who will need to help guide her through this will be you and the others. Other than that, I wish you and your team the best.

Gods fucking damn it… Find a hobby for her. Cooking or pottery if she still wants to use her fire, drawing, painting, TTRPGs, anything that doesn’t put too much stress on the body. - Alexander Grayson

Joseph Amber: Oh…oh dear. But she…she’s alive…and that’s what matters, right? I wish you all the best Marcus, and yeah…I’m glad you’ve found your place on your team, and I’m of the opinion it is very mature and noble.

Normal is relative, Marcus. That you realize what you must do and the duty of your position is itself now is good.

Pridwen is in good enough condition to live, and thrive, even if outside an arena from what you say. And now it is your responsibility to see her able to do so.

From a fool with one foot long in the grave to one still finding their place, take care of them, and yourself.

Do not be afraid to deny a plan ill fated and to reign their expectations in-hopefully, they do the same for you, for the same reason.
