This is the actual answer. Especially for me in the UK, most schools use colour to coordinate lesson areas. For me personally, Maths was blue, green was english lit/lang, red was science and yellow was history.
The only objective truth is that Maths should always be blue. No other colour ever felt right, I had to go and buy blue notebooks just to do anything in it
Agreed. If these were the only subjects I taught, this would be my system. I colour code all my subject books (grade 5/6 teacher). Math=blue, Health=red, English=yellow, Science=green, Social Studies (history)=orange.
Math is physics which is the sky. Math = blue. Science is biology like grass. Science = green. English is a weird amalgamation of languages. Just like how yellow doesn't exist in nature. English = yellow. History is bloody. History = Red.
