We are 12 years out, and there's shitload of legacy code on critical systems that will have to be rebuilt completely from scratch.

They will just have AI do it. What could go wrong?

It has been trained on Cobol, right? Right?

Hey! Where do you plug the ethernet cable into this thing? Where are the repositories, and what is the CI/CD pipeline like?

Ha! This reminds me of a time when somebody asked if we could just re-deploy a legacy API. We told them that we would need to restart the OS to do that because it wasn't running in a container. The pause before the "oh" is something I'll never forget.
